The communities reaction to this entire incident makes me doubt that this could ever be serious and mainstream. Lots of people need to grow up. I've been without internet for the entire day, and I don't have much time now to sift through everything..

This is something that I don't think will be "big" but we should all try and learn something from this. And to be honest anyone who finds some of the things he did as completely acceptable must be jaded or something. If that was my kid getting violated like that I would rage. Its good that things didn't continue to get worse but destiny clearly feels bad about it and for good reason.

Women know how to stand up for themselves 3. Women are not saints I am in no-way condoning "groping" random women or proceeding beyond being told "no." Neither of those two things occurred on Destiny's stream. Women deal with drunk horn balls on a regular basis (like every single time they attend a party or go to a bar). Just because you haven't been laid since 'nam doesn't mean sexuality ceases to exist. Destiny is a friend of Mia's, and he is completely harmless. She knows he was hammered and acting like a drunk ass. She was clearly NOT in danger or emotionally upset about what Destiny was doing (other than her poor LoL performance). If she had been in danger, or emotionally upset about Destiny's completely harmless touching, this would be a big deal. SHE WAS NOT. Yes, Destiny is a professional and should be held to a higher standard. He made a small mistake by streaming these events. Everyone makes mistakes. He will learn from this and it will probably not happen again. Stop blowing this out of proportion. Well said. People overreacting claiming it was sexual assault are taking all the actions completely out of context.

Obviously your delusions about the context which I was referring to seem to have goaded you into dispensing your ignorant viewpoint. Cases ten times worse than this do not get publicized on CNN, this is a localized event in Utah, not international news. Fox news can and may sensationalize this if they get wind of it, and spin it into "ESports Paragon Rapes Pornstar Live In Front Of Encouraging Audience In Game Fuelled Depression" if they ever need to smear something to do with Starcraft, but again, this is unlikely as their agenda lies in far more frivolous matters. Also, Bill O'Reilly would call you out as a pinhead if you send this to him, which you are. Comparing Destiny to a pro-NFL player who might have been doing the same actions is not logical. He is a regular guy who plays games and entertains for a living, not the hero of 6 year olds and balding men who have had their heyday, and the SC2 scene is not as visible as a professional sporting event. Please don't spout effluvium and try to sound like a bright spark. If 10,000 people see something Starcraft 2 related, that is, in fact, mainstream within the Starcraft 2 scene. As for the obvious inflammatory comment you made after trying out your dandy argumentum ad hominem, get a life instead of signing up a new account to troll. What bearing does that have on the situation, as opposed to her being a pious nun or a balding businesswoman or a dog trainer? Someone who actively propagates complete sexual availability with movies that show real sexual intercourse with virtually unknown men and engages in self-degradation by explcitely showing her genitalia and making her intimate attributes openly available is not in the position some of the useres here claim her to be. Did she announce to press charges vs Destiny? Did she even openly claim to have been sexually harassed by Destiny or is it just a couple of moralizers who jump on the band wagon in the current circumstances. If she indeed claims to have been sexually harassed one can only point to her highly ambiguous behavior. Somone who takes off his clothes in front several thousand viewers and takes a seat on someone's lap cannot claim to have undergone any kind of sexual harassment if she hasn't told the harasser to refrain from executing the ongoing procedures and taken appropiate measures to inhibit further harassment. If someone is sexually harassed and seriously feels uncomfortable why won't he stand up and move aways from his harasser instead of enduring the procedure by sitting on the harassers lap. We must not forget that by sitting on someone's lap you already voluntarily offer your private parts for indirect body contact. Her behavier was false-faced and everybody who claims to have seen a serious case of sexual harassment or even abuse on this video insults real vicitms of sexual harassment.

Seriously, its just people who want to blow this way out of proportion just to strike destiny (for god knows what reason, trolls general). Hell why is everyone else calling sexual harassment on friends groping eachother. Whatever, it will blow over. Then again, the highlight of that night, minus the boob grabbing, was this: Passion

I've been registered here longer than you have. From Wikipedia: Mainstream is, generally, the common current thought of the majority.[1] However, the mainstream is far from cohesive; rather the concept is often considered a cultural construct Starcraft is not mainstream and is far from it (in the Western world). The same goes for the views of the people that are claiming that what Destiny constitutes sexual harassment. Those are not mainstream views.

Thank you for giving women a teeny tiny little credit which apparently all those knights riding around here forget...Funny how respect and thinking women are idiots feels like the same thing around here. I'm not saying every guy has to behave like this when drunk, but there are a lot of them, who do. It's not that difficult to get them to understand that you don't want them to grope you.
