Your making it into way more than it is. If she had such a big problem with it should would have clearly explained to him that she wasn't interested, or better yet, have left for a while until he passed out. Anyone whos been around people who get too drunk know its nothing personal, and they just aren't in control of their actions at the time. It's clear Destiny has a lot of intense emotional issues right now that manifest themselves in stupid ways when he drinks, hes got a tough life situation. Relax and give the guy a little bit of compassion. I'm sure above anyone else he is incredibly embarrassed and likely begging Mia for forgiveness this morning... I don't know about the rest of you, but I love Destiny and Catz, and I sure as hell don't want this to ruin their ski vacation, I mean, it's not like these guys get vacations often... Let them enjoy some fun and relaxation without stressing them out too much with these internet conspiracy posts. Hes just human, humans make mistakes, just because someone doesn't act perfectly every second of their life as a public face in the community doesn't mean we condemn them. | ||

Yeah because what he did most people would clearly consider sexual assault, she was totally not being playful and was clearly offended by what he did! It's ok though, since you have your friend, which must be the standard for all women, and the playfulness was only to stop him from furthering his aggressive sexual harassment... I think there was some sarcasm in there. | ||

The thing is that other than some random no-name lowlife Destiny actually has quite a big following of devoted fans/viewers that don't like him being reduced to, well, this, so they tend to be less critical and act more forgiving, imagine how they would react if it was, say, Incontrol. | ||

Yes because not everyone shares you very dramatized point of view about what went on in the stream, thus we're all horrible people. Somehow you make it seem as though this was an obvious case of sexual harassment, and any of us not condemning Destiny to rot in prison for his "crime" are a group of poisoned scum who must condone such acts. Edit: I'm not sure how in your convoluted mind you've managed to not only equate what he did you some serious level of sexual harassment, but to the point where you think it's worthy of applying rape culture to it. | ||

It's that people are excusing sexual assault even minor sexual assault that its a part of rape culture. It's the idea that's the background here that, 1) She should have said no more firmly, despite the fact she's in front of 9000 people which creates pressure, and with a drunk person who's actions are volatile. 2) That she's a porn star and should be used to it, implying that being sexually active means you can't not consent to being touched. 3)The brushing it off, no unwanted touching is minor, fuck off. | ||

Let me fill you in on a couple of secrets: 1. Women know of the sexual "power" they have over men 2. Women are intelligent human beings 3. Women know how to stand up for themselves 3. Women are not saints I am in no-way condoning "groping" random women or proceeding beyond being told "no." Neither of those two things occurred on Destiny's stream. Women deal with drunk horn balls on a regular basis (like every single time they attend a party or go to a bar). Just because you haven't been laid since 'nam doesn't mean sexuality ceases to exist. Destiny is a friend of Mia's, and he is completely harmless. She knows he was hammered and acting like a drunk ass. She was clearly NOT in danger or emotionally upset about what Destiny was doing (other than her poor LoL performance). If she had been in danger, or emotionally upset about Destiny's completely harmless touching, this would be a big deal. SHE WAS NOT. Yes, Destiny is a professional and should be held to a higher standard. He made a small mistake by streaming these events. Everyone makes mistakes. He will learn from this and it will probably not happen again. Stop blowing this out of proportion. | ||

Apparently I was wrong, and the community is made up of a bunch of drama queens who have never even spoken to a girl. If you want to follow the letter of the law: you can say that someone who brushes past you is committing rape. But that wouldn't ever pass in court because people have this little mechanism called judgement to allow one to make informed, logical decisions. This is called CONTEXT. If you want the truth: unless Mia Rose had stated or physically showed in any way that she was uncomfortable with their physical touching, there was in no way any form of sexual harassment going on. In this context, Mia Rose was visibly flirting and allowing herself to be touched by Destiny multiple times and even sitting in his lap after the alleged incident. As I love TL and most of the community, I would encourage many of you to get off of your computer, go outside, and start meeting new people and experiencing situations where you have physical interactions. You may just figure out what the social ques which serve as a basis for when it is and is not appropriate to have physical contact with other people are, and the difference between the letter of the law, context, and the way that the real world works. Edit: I would also like to point out that most of you are alive and in this world today because at one point your mother and your father probably decided that it was okay to do more than look at or talk to one another because of the context of their relationship. | ||

Who do you think you are to start claiming that he was taking advantage of a sexual abuse victim? First off, you have absolutely no right to claim that she was sexually abused. That's not cool. Some women just like to have sex (a lot). It's natural. Get off your high horse. Second, he was clearly not "taking advantage" of her. She could have whooped his ass at any second. Look at her twitter. Her last tweet is "LOL" to picture of Destiny grabbing her breasts. She thought it was funny. | ||
