This thread is for discussing recent bans. Don't discuss other topics here. Take it to website feedback if you disagree with a ban or want to raise an issue. Keep it civil.NOTE: For those of you who want to find the actual ABL thread where the bans are posted. Please look in here: https://tl.net/forum/closed-threads/ |

That a newcomer was using the term foreigner in the context I’ve only heard Starcraft vets use should have been a giveaway to me. In my defence I was drunk when I entered that thread or totally would have pointed it out

Him saying Astrea was entertaining and exciting was a dead giveaway he was a troll

It's hard to find even if you know it exists somewhere on the site. It's like the plans to a bypass that will demolish your house being hidden in lightless cellar behind a toilet door at the bottom of a folder cabinet and saying it is on display at the local council building.

This is an 11 year old thread discussing posts from the automated ban list. It's a bit strange to think someone would be a member of this community all that time, with a love for commenting on moderation, and not be aware that the automated ban list exists, despite this thread title.

When I want to check it I simply search for "Ban List" and its right near the top.

It seemed to me he couldn't find the damned thread. Sometimes I want to know why a person was banned and I find it easier to just click on his name and find the offending post. If you don't frequently visit a thread, and it isn't visible on the sidebar, you don't remember where to look for it.

If he just couldn't find the thread he'd recognize there's probably a ban reason somewhere and he just can't find it.

The website feedback and closed threads are oddly positioned outside the sidebar. They look like more of an additional customization link than more forums.

lol dangermousecatdog got it, my life doesn't revolve around the inner workings of this website, and it's super strange that anyone would assume I am lying about any of this
