GHOSTCLAW and Lovedrop will be representing TL at Blizzard's Heart of the Swarm preview later this week. They'll be writing a recap and all that fun stuff.
As far as we know, the presentation will mostly focus on the single player campaign, so try to focus your questions on that. We'll try to sneak in a few multiplayer questions but there just might not be that much info about it right now.
What do you guys want to know? What do you guys want our two TL reps to ask? Post in here and we'll hopefully get some nice information from Blizzard.

Are there any plans to add Zerg units that can traverse different level terrain like the other classes have?(Protoss Collussi and Terran Reaper)

A question I have:
How will the difficulty of the campaign (especially the beginning several missions) compare to WoL? Will the first several missions be designed to introduce players to Starcraft, or will they begin with the assumption that people have beaten WoL and know how to generally play Starcraft already?
I'm just hoping that the first three-four missions won't be teaching us how to move units around the map. ^^

Will there be a radical change of style in how the story develops or will they continue with the small branching that does not actually affect the story too much. I mean, in the choices the player faces, will they have a greater effect on the storyline; i.e, you chose to side with A instead of B, so in a later mission B comes back to kill you while you have something else to do, hence making the mission harder; or will they rather continue with the soft choice system they've used so far?

Can they reimplement hotkeys in the main menu again? i.e. hotkeys to open your stats, see custom games, search for a match...etc.

Will blizzard continue to release new maps with the release of heart of the swarm? What about new tilesets? Is it possible some of the the custom games blizzard has previously shown, such as the dota custom game, will be apart of the heart of the swarm release?

Will WoL players be able to download a patch to allow them to play multiplayer games with HotS players? This relates to weather HotS is expansion or stand alone.

Will HoTS have clan support? Also, will the Blizzard Custom Map Marketplace be part of Hots.

In WoL, we got to play a section of Protoss. Will there be similar sections in HotS, or will it be entirely zerg? If there are such sections, will they continue to be "tasters" of the future games, or can we expect to see any more terran gameplay in the single player in the future?

it is, but its also a waste of time to ask... though asking in person is harder to dodge the question entirely, But will probably just give the poor response. Though i would love to hear blizzards thoughts on cross region, or the possibility of an international region.

Will WoL choices matter at all in HoTS?
What has blizzard learned from feedback from WoL SP gameplay and story? (as the choices seemed really anticlimactic and didnt seem to matter at all....)
Also hope the story is less generic, and moves away from the generic sci fi plot line thats killing SP gaming for me =/ Collect a bunch of something, boom 1 shots all enemies at the end. the end.
another complaint i had about the story of WoL, is that it was so fragmented and individual sections really had barely any thing to do with anything. Will the story to HoTS be more connected?
A clarification on whether the expansion will be standalone or a standard expansion, And will achievements and stuff carry over.
Is there plans to add a more dynamic decal system to allow customization instead of just presets?

What will be the "base of operations" for the campaign. Raynor's ship the Hyperion served as your base of operations in WoL, the place you went to in between missions. What will be the Hyperions equivalent in HotS? Maybe a zerg hive? Or the hyperion again?
I am really really interested to see how they handle that.

Will they have different outcomes inside the missions, such as if you save XXX the mission will go this way and ultimately a different storyline as opposed to not saving XXX the mission will go another way?

only a few multiplayer questions will be asked probably, as they did say the focus was on singleplayer. So, my guess is that questions like "will there be lan/cross relm" is going to be answered with "we will not be talking about multiplayer at this time".
Might see if I can get away with a question like "what sorts of things did you learn from the multiplayer experience that you gained from the first expansion", but that's about it.
Curious to see what they say about tychus as well (hope he stays gone).

There have been a lot of comparisons between SC2 and BW since release. A common criticism of StarCraft 2 from hardcore Brood War fans is that games sometimes rely too heavily on deathball vs deathball situations. What units in HotS aim to remedy this situation, and what unique unit roles will we be seeing?

Wasn't this somewhat answered? Off the top of my head, didn't they say they were going to continue to patch and release new maps and such for both WoL and HotS?
All and any new units in HotS will purely be in HotS and not found in WoL, though both games will be regularly patched.
That's what I can recall, though don't bank on it.

Regardless all StarCraft II campaigns were brilliant, I have never been emerged in such a touching campaign on the Hyperion, something words cannot express. LOVED IT!!!!! Hope HotS will not be a huge disappoint.

Plenty of reasons :3 Not everyone wants to immediately switch and feel satisfied with what they already have.

Well its the same as pretty much any other game with expansions, if you don't own the expansion content you straight up won't be able to play with people who do, and blizz have already stated they will have separate ladders. Though its pretty much a given that the competitive community will immediately jump over to HotS, no reason not to.

I would like to know if there will be new tilesets added. In bw, they added the snow, shakuras, and desert terrains to single player and to multiplayer maps. Will there be new music? I was actually a little disappointed with the WOL music.

I (Some players) are deeply dissatisfied with Blizzards trend of worse and cheaper plots. The overmind is dead so he wasn't the arch bad guy. Kerrigan wanted free afterall! And so on. I was touched more by that marine, rocking back and forth in the trenches while DuGalles battlecruiser left for orbit than any of the million dollar shots in WoL. The "Sudden unexpected plot twists!" are shallow and forgettable.
Are you keeping the same writers and are they still writing from the same approach, heavily involving static (and mostly filler) characters? Will there ever be a return to the simpler but much more touching style of cinematics from the original game?
Remember the words of Lester and Sarge.
(Obviously i'm much to abrasive and opinionated so if there were any chance of this being asked.. well, I would completely expect it to be rephrased into a gentler one.)

you have to remember when you say obvious and cliche blizzard hears EPIC and AMAZING ;/
i'd love to see a decent story told in the sequel. WoL just felt sexist and out of touch. Every Woman in the whole universe falls in love with raynor as soon as they meet him and even the scientist lady couldnt function correctly without a man.

As with Wings of Liberty, Blizzard incorporated brood war units like firebats and wraiths which were only for the single player. Will we see this kind of flashback in the HotS single player as well? Maybe lurkers?

I would like to hear if blizzard are planing new "challenges" to accompany HotS-singleplayer experience. or if simular minigames will be added.
And also In how big a degree that the old units from sc1 will aprear in HotS campain -> like it was the case with Firebats-medics-vultures etc. in WoL.
Also, Im interested in knowing if the HotS campaign will have a "sidestory" like it was the case with zerathuls visit on Aiur- in the WoL campaign?

Here's a good question.
Ask Blizzard whether they changed the User Interface from WOL. That is, have they changed the minimap? Changed the unit portraits? Given a "select all army units" button. Given a "select all army units on the screen button. Given a new way to bind units. That kind of thing.
If they changed the UI for SP, they probably changed it for MP, so you might learn something :D.

Yes, please ask about this. Brutal was far too easy for anyone that was already an active rts player when wol came out, the experienced player base will be even bigger this time around.
As a long time RTS player and masters level player in multiplayer, I thought most of the brutal missions were... brutal, especially if you wanted to get all the achievements. But perhaps that is because I played the campaign before I upgraded my graphics card, in which the game could actually play at 100% Normal speed instead of a laggy 70% Normal speed, which is like 50% of Faster xD

WoL Context: In 'Gates of Hell' some lame excuse was made for why supply depots weren't needed, but then 2 missions later they were needed, half of which some numb-nut had built on a vulnerable flank.
HoTS Question: Will the HoTS editor be improved to the point where I can choose where I want my first buildings at the start of a mission?

What lessons were learned from the way missions were chosen in WoL?
Eg: “Welcome to the Jungle” could be done with 2/2 upgrades available if you were lucky and “The Great Train Robbery” could be done without Siege Tanks if you were unlucky
As Cerebrates (or whatever we will be) can we have more choice over how we approach a mission?
So rather than just attacking "a planet" or "a facility" we should attack different areas first (like the choice for Belly of the Beast vs Shatter the Sky only every mission would have 3 or 4 areas to weaken). But for achievements like Raid night we would not have time and the central mission would be 5 times tougher!

WoL context: So if Stetman had to do all that research to unlock Tech-Reactors why did the dominion already have them in missions like "Breakout"? Why didn't we just capture and torture a dominion scientist?

Context: In Star Wars 1-3 old Jedi run around with light-sabres just like the young bucks. Now really dedicated Star Wars fans can 'explain' why the slow fight between Obi Wan and Darth Vader in Star Wars IV 'makes sense'. But that's because they are really dedicated, not because it actually makes sense. In the same way really forgiving Blizzard fans can overlook every plot hole, every inconsistency, every everything in WoL. But that's because they are forgiving, not because they're right.
Question: Just for a change, can Blizzard please get 10 detail orientated, fussy-fuss-pot, anal-retentive people* to check everything before releasing the game.
*yes we are annoying but we can be useful, albeit only to other fusspots, I guess no-one else notices

This has probably already been said, but: (in the part about sneaking a few multiplayer questions in there) will Zerg get the Lurker/Scourge back and will we ever get a viable early game defense against air units?
And will Gabriel Tosh go insane like Nova said? I'm genuinly curious about that. :S

There has been a lot success corncerning the competitive side of sc2. However, there has been noted that there were some shortcomings with the gameplay. Does HOTS plan to implement a mod for mp, such as a promod, that will allow for more skills to be shown? Such examples are removal off mbs, takng awat automining, max unit control and such. With these changes, would there be a different ladder rating and would people have the options to play on both ladders? Could tournaments also choose what style of mp mod to use?

With two professional zerg players being invited for HoTS (Sen and Cella), are any non-zergs also going to be consulted, since consulting pros would be most relevant to multiplayer where each race would presumably require equal attention?

Immortals did used to come out of the Gateway, but it was way overpowered That's why.

My question is more of a request:
Please make it easier for mapmakers to share maps across realms, and cross language. I know this is a big hassle. Reading about a new cool map, and then not being able to play it because its NA only is quite a big step back from when in warcraft 3 you would just go to a website and download the map.

Sentries used to come out of robotics facilities, but toss couldn't get them early enough to effectively fend off early aggression well. Thus the two were switched.

I am sorry if I have missed this already, but will HotS campaign take place after the events of WoL, before, or during?
How will the campaign be structured? Will Kerrigan serve as a "hero unit" in every level and you must level her in order to get her stronger? Or will it be similar to the WoL play style?
Also, are the events in the Zeratul missions foreseeing the end of the Protoss and Zerg races going to play a larger role in HotS or LotV?
