idk if this affects your guides at all but arc warden got stealth nerfed when ported, spark wraith mana cost went from 50 -> 100/110/120/130

no other changes to him as far as i can tell from just glancing at the hero page though

Every single hero that starts with courier, ring of protection or quelling blade needs their starting items reviewed.

Also, Tranquil Boots' armor nerf means they should be reconsidered on heroes that get them for the armor (Doom?)

And finally, I think MKB was nerfed hard enough for Gyro's purposes that it's no longer the first choice damage item.

(E) We should reconsider Hood on Centaur now, and possibly add Aether Lens

I've been reviewing ALL the starting items. Most of the guides have a significant amount of unspent starting gold.

*All the support guides only list one observer ward. I'm assuming the player will buy a second and deducting 75 gold. This should maybe be explicit in the guide. Regardless, most supports have 100+ excess gold due to lower priced couriers and wards compared to when you started the guides and have a free inventory slot after spawning the courier.

The standard support array is courier, observer ward, 2x branch, tangos, clarity. We might want to change the 'default' here, as it has 100 unspent gold.

There's a similar common melee core array of 2x Branch, Stout shield, Tango, Salve. It has 90 unspent gold.

90 banked gold is w/e. The 3rd branch gets sold to make room for your first item in lane anyway and often doesn't do enough before then.

Though the fact that you can get an extra tango's worth of regen out of it now might mean that it's just worth having that 3rd branch anyway now.

I can't update the guides until I am at home.

I still published Arc Warden: Middle and Lane Versions in the meantime.
Won't be able to update to 6.86 until Friday evening/Saturday.

Any help or feedback on how to patch the builds is appreciated.

I'd prefer the mid AW to be more push oriented and lane would be fighting.

Lane: Arcanes/PT -> Orb of Venom -> Midas -> Diffusal -> SNY/Manta* -> AC/Shivas** -> Hex -> BoTs -> MKB (if there's evasion) / Daedalus (if there isn't evasion, but i dont see why you shouldnt get both) -> Skadi

Mid: bottle -> brown boots -> midas -> necro 1 -> BoTs -> necro 2&3 -> manta -> AC -> Refresher -> Moon shard ->

Please note that I'm most likely wrong in some parts.


* SNY imo since it gives a little more strength than Manta..could be dissembled into manta & halberd or silver edge later i guess, depending on the enemy lineup plus it's a little cheaper but AW doesnt care about money *

** Both are pretty good but I prefer AC because of the attack speed and the armor reduction, but I'd say AC might be better for a push oriented Warden **

No to anything that's not Necro BoTs.

Support AW should probably have Bottle after Midas or as situational. Even if you get it late, having free Bottle Charges to negate the health/mana cost is still good.

There are some situations to get Flux level 1, but in low level pubs, you can often just get someone with a nest of Spark Wraiths by the rune.

If you place the Wraith on high ground or above trees where they don't have vision, they don't see the circle around it either.

I'm leaving for the Grand Canyon tomorrow, so I got 4 hours to hash out notes and changes made to any/all heroes.

Any advice or suggestions would be helpful as I'll be trying to do it all on the bus ride and back and then applying those changes Friday evening to Saturday.

Hopefully we won't lose too many subscribers due to the delay in updates.

I've seen rat-built Arc Wardens use Mjollnir after Boots of Travel and Necronomicon are online; they put the static charge on their necro warrior.

honestly, there will probably be a 6.86a by the time you get back so I think its understandable that everything isn't perfect yet lol

i've seen a lot of manta and octarine bc people think that's the build for split push..i think with the current CD and a blink dagger, I have to agree with yango's assessment in one of the threads we have talking about the patch.

you're better building more damage vs more survivability (or static charge on a creep) because a support can't clear out a zet clone with 2 rapiers worth of dmg and 4 necro minions pounding on a tower before dealing a ton of dmg to the tower or just straight up raxing.

I need to watch more and play him a bit before I can say definitively, but right now that's my opinion.

Aether Lens seems like it'll probably be somewhere in situational or extension for Ogre Magi I'm guessing.

Going from 475 to 675 range on the Fireblasts opens up a lot of disables you can out range and the bonus ignite range is pretty handy too. It lets you position a lot more safely while still being able to nuke down enemies. Agh's and Force staff are still there as cores, but if you happen to get the gold it feels like a great pick up.
