I also think regen heavy starts are better than Wraith+Tangos if it's a difficult mid matchup and you aren't getting pooled (because saving for your first item with only one set of Tangos against something like Viper is kind of rough), and that's where Circlet starts are ok.

If you're running furion as a solo chances are you're good enough to not need a guide i do agree with creating a brew mid guide (it might be easier just to make your current lane guide into a mid since he's played much more often in mid than in a sidelane)

Skill Build: W Q Q E Q R Q W W W R W W W R (1. Overwhelming Odds 2. Press The Attack 3. Moment of Courage)" While 7 ranks in Press The Attack would probably be pretty awesome, I'm not quite sure DotA2 is goin to allow the skill build. ![]()

also - have you considered adding soul ring into your LC build? spam your q whenever someone walks even remotely close to creeps, win lane with plenty of mana.

I'd say it'd be better to not have the guide and maybe some people will think twice about the bad idea. The whole point of the guides is to get people to make better choices in game, sort of defeats the point if you make a guide to do the opposite. I know I've definitely lost a few games in large part because of people doing things these guides do no recommend (like the pretty dated shadowblade on venomancer). On that note Dusa's guide seems dated. I thought nowadays it is considered better to focus on early offensive and farming items and use mana shield to give medusa hp. So like yasha + maelstorm or MoM + something that's +dmg like MKB then go from there into defensive items. The driving change behind that being mana shield's big boost to efficiency giving dusa a high eHP even without +int/mana items. Plus the change to split shot making it much better at levels 1-3 allowing you to delay getting it in favor of mana shield (or skipping mystic snake if your lane is easy). The whole core linkens sort of leaves you with a medusa that still can't teamfight, can't split push, and doesn't farm particularly fast. That is assuming the dusa can even make the linken's before the game has been decided.

Yeah, but I haven't seen it used much in higher games On December 20 2014 03:49 Bunn wrote: Why have you removed LC jungle guide? Is it not viable anymore or is it just too inefficient? Because it's just awful. I've used it 25 times since patch 6.82 (I believe) and I've never won using it and I'm usually someone who likes to jungle even if its unoptimal, just because it makes the games so much easier. There is no way to play Jungle LC without nearly maxing E, but then you get no points in Q, can't gank until Blink (unless your team is heavily coordinated) and everything is pretty massively delayed. I tried finding alternatives, like going Phase into Armlet and just forgetting Blink/Shadow Blade until later and honestly the delay is so brutal when trying to win duels (even if you're doing well) that it just makes it a nightmare to play with the team. So I switched it for Lane - Legion Commander. I will probably lose subscribers over the decision but it's not a build I can advocate (and I advocate Lifestealer - Jungle and Ursa - Jungle!) and it would go against the guides philosophy of standard play and leading people into (perspectively) correct playstyles of heroes (or at least functional ones). It hasn't been viable for awhile but I was really adamant about trying to make it work. I tried Choke-Jungling, I tried it with teams of 3-4-5, etc. Never did well, never won, never got enough duels to make her comfortable late-game. If I recall, Mask of Madness is gimmicky, no? I remember the Medusa topic being split about it and I brought it up here previously. I'll read up on it, I am 100% for changing the build, I just don't know all her playstyles (I just avoid fights and farm to Linken's and then fight, which turns out al'right thanks to my ult) On December 20 2014 05:42 Wrath 2.1 wrote: pls make a wr mid guide, from what Ive seen it's very viable (in pub games, but thos guides are for pub players and not for dendimon right) I've never seen it used ever
