Does anyone know if there are any ways to automatically reassemble "sliced" images?
The images are labeled with _x1_y1, x2_y1, etc can that be used to reassemble the images?
Is there any program that can reassemble them or no? I don't want to do them manually if possible (would prefer an automatic and error proof way to get them reassembled).

Whats the "simple" difference between an Intel core i7 2600k and a intel core i7 3820 ? Which is the better option from a gaming standpoint. My immediate reaction was that the 3820 was a better processor, but prices seem reasonably the same :S

Core i7 2600k is LGA1155 (mainstream socket) and has an unlocked multiplier.
Core i7 3820 is LGA2011 (enthusiast socket aka if you aren't going to spend $2000+ on your computer, you are an idiot for purchasing this), and has 2MB more cache. It's also 100MHz faster but that doesn't matter since 2600k has an unlocked multiplier and this doesn't.
From a gaming stand point, it's absolutely stupid to consider either processor since games barely even use four cores.

Posting this for a friend.
He baught a NAS, a dns-320, and he was wondering if it is normal if it as only at 10mb/s passing trough the modem and 1mb/s trough the plc?

Hey guys, I'm trying to switch a standard cherry mx keyboard key (got my TL keycap today), but I really don't know how to do it. Is it simply just pull and replace? Not looking to damage my keyboard, and interestingly enough there's nothing that I could really find on the interwebs.

That's what I figured. It's a stubborn bugger to pull, though

yo! I have 2 questions : Are the LED monitors better than LCD? I want to buy one and saw one BenQ 24" LCD monitor being just 20$ more expensiv than a BenQ 21.5" LED monior .. which one should i get? And what GPU should i get with this spec: Corsair CMPSU-500CXV2, 500W, ATX2.2 Asus P8H61-M/LE/REV3.0, socket 1155 or Asrock H61M-VS, socket 1155? Core i3 2100, 3.10GHz, socket 1155
Edit: i wanna play dota 2 on high 1920/1080 with this GPU

A LED monitor is still an LCD. LCD is the technology that creates the image on the screen, but it needs to be lit from behind before you can see it. This backlighting used to always be provided by cold-cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL), but recently LED has been steadily gaining popularity in the backlighting business.
The LEDs can be distributed in two ways. They can be directly behind the display panel or they can be installed at the edges of the panel with optical components guiding the light to the right locations to still get the light coming from the back. This last method, also called edge-lit, is by far the most common form of LED backlighting. It is cheaper and easier to produce. CCFLs also illuminate the display panel in this way.
So what are the advantages of LED over CCFL? With edge-lit LED backlighting, not that much. LED is a bit cheaper to produce, but it's primarily more power efficient and takes less space, allowing for smaller bezels and/or thinner screens.
Since LED is the new cool thing in monitor land however, you'll see that many manufacturers include LED backlighting on their higher end or newer models, while still using CCFLs in their budget stuff. So there may be differences in quality between the 2 monitors you saw that are not related to the type of backlighting.

That doesnt point me to anywhere useful actually. Can you give us your system details?
|
Yeah we need to actually know your system specs to determine whether you can play a game at playable levels.

Your system is really low end, but it can be made playable. The CPU is close to the minimum recommended by Bliz, but it's probably passable. The Video Card, on the other hand, is terrible, though not much worse than the CPU. It's also flirting with minimum requirements, and I doubt it will be able to handle 1920x1080.
If you have some money to spend, you can get a low-end discrete Video Card such as a HD 6570 (~$65-70) or at most 6670 for ~$80-90, and that would be a massive upgrade.
You could also just wait and see, but you'll most likely be just able to play at the lowest settings @ 1920x1080.

Occasionally Starcraft looks really choppy to me, despite having high fps (70+). I can't figure out why it only happens sometimes or why it would look strange even with high framerate. Any ideas? D:
I have a GTX 460 and i'm on Windows 7.

probably a stupid noob question, but i cant seem to find the answer anwhere online
how does a Radeon HD4250 compare to the x1950 pro?
i that higher number is better :p but i dont know if the x series is newer and better
thanks
|
+ Show Spoiler +I'm pretty sure like x1950 is like ten years old? Also, the 4250 isn't very good either, I believe its an integrated card. Also its from several years ago too. Edit: even though the 4250 might be better (not because of number, but because its just significantly newer), neither will run current games well at all, haha. (Even if the x1950 is better)
Really bad advice

x1950 Pro is much, much better. See this hierarchy chart:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html
You can't compare the number because they're not from the same generation of cards. And even though the x1950 Pro is 2 generations older than the 4xxx series, x1950 Pro was a high-end card in that generation, whereas the HD 4250 is a super-low-end integrated graphics.

I used to have a very similar system, with a somewhat worse graphics card, playing on a 1680x1050 monitor. If you're on lowest graphics, you can play 1v1 and maybe 2v2. But in late game scenarios, even 1v1, there will be occasions (large numbers of units, say a maxed zergling army on creep) when your processor will force slowdowns that make it impossible to, say, micro. 2v2 was still 'playable' for me - but you learn to only build an attack-move army, no spell casters. 3v3 and 4v4 is iffy at best. No graphics card upgrade will improve the above, but if you don't have that level of functionality, it might help.
I'm not sure how much a new graphics card will help. Maybe it will help significantly. *shrug* If there would be a benefit you can probably get the same effect by turning down the resolution you're playing at in graphics settings.

Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my internet and I hope someone can help me.
-I can't log into SC2. It gives me the error, "The game is awaiting a response from Battle.net....Please check your internet and try again" -I can't log into Battle.net website. It just freezes when I click "log in". I can browse the rest of the site as long as I don't try to log in. -I can browse the internet fine. -I can't update Super Anti-Spyware. It claims there are no updates even though I last updated it over a month ago. -I can't log into Merge poker network("unable to connect to server...Check internet and try again"). -I CAN log into PokerStars. -I've restarted my computer and router+modem multiple times. -This problem started in the middle of a game of SC2 in which I was disconnected. This problem has been going on longer than 8 hours.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am at a loss of what to do.
EDIT: Right when I made this post, SC2 and my poker clients started working. WTF!? Do you guys have an explanation?
