The "raw" value for reallocated sectors is the actual count of bad sectors. CrystalDiskInfo displays it as hexadecimal, so 0xBF7 = 3063. You can often identify a drive as "probably failing" long before SMART considers it to be a failure by examining the raw values. Good drives normally have no bad sectors at all, and even one or two bad sectors is often a sign of trouble.

It just shut down without any notice and will not boot into w7. It will either blue screen or give me the option to restore the pc my other specs are. His 6870 8gb microcenter ram corsair ax650 please and thank you for helping. to follow up on this I exchanged the board at mc for a new one and I still have the same problem. The ram seems fine (if it were the ram wouldn't it be more dramatic like crashing/freezing?) and I'm running off the igp so could it be my hard drive?

Judging from what you said, would this HDD also be going bad? + Show Spoiler + ![]()

Those are an absolute count (at least, they are on all drives I've seen), so the value will never reduce. Therefore it's possible that the problem has already been fixed and the errors all occurred some time ago.

That's usually a bad SATA cable contact, or possibly interference from something the SATA cable runs close to. Here's the best result I was able to achieve, but it's still a fairly low resolution: http://www.justin.tv/kovaz477/b/319261881 Here are my specs. I thought this would be plenty to get like a 480p stream but maybe I'm wrong. i5-2500k GTX 460 8 GB RAM ![]() So my question is: 1) My computer is enough to stream, right? I don't need 1080p or anything, just 480p or something similar is fine. 2) What do I have to change on XSplit to change the resolution? EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out. For some reason I thought the 'Resolution' menu at the top was only for the preview window

The stream runs at a steady FPS, my CPU is running at about 30% capacity, my game doesn't feel even slightly laggy, so obviously my computer and internet can handle a higher-quality stream, but I can't figure out what setting to change to increase the resolution. You should be able to stream a nice 720p, especially if your CPU is overclocked. 2. Change from what? Give your XSplit settings. Stream quality depends on much more than just resolution.

Only some TIM requires a burn in time, but if yours does, I suggest using P95, personally, IBT is a little short. Run it up till it stabilizes, cool it back off to within ~5C of idle, back up, repeat. If you're repasting a GPU, I suggest avoiding furmark for burn-in, as it's a bit too hot, honestly. Use something like 3dMark11 graphics tests, again letting it cool back off.
