There is no evidence to suggest that dpi is more precise and you are simply making that up. Also g9 is definitely NOT the best mouse for fps because the sensor is shit.

A lot of people have been brainwashed about dpi.

As posted before:

There is only one situation where a higher CPI count makes sense: if the speed on the screen is too slow, you want to have a sensor that is capable of more CPI, as everything that goes beyond it has to be calculated by software and then you LOSE precision.

yeah i use sort of... variations of those things. i use the QCK mass instead of the +, salmosa instead of deathadder, and Siberia V1 instead of V2. disagree on the keyboard though. you don't need to hunt down and drop money on a filco. das keyboards, razer blackwidow (gloss only on the body, not the keys), rosewill (completely identical to the filco, just rebranded), and steelseries line are all legit keyboards.

I don't know about that, i've been playing FPS before RTS and found that 400dpi mouse were much worse than 800dpi (switched wmo 1.1 for mx510).

Started to play SC:BW with mx510 but my hands got so tired fast, mx510 is quite on the heavy side and spamming and moving is so hard

so back to wmo 1.1, love it.

Agree on cloth surfaces and even on headsets.
