And when you're not even buying until January to February, I am not going to link to a specific product since the pricing and availability is not static. Something better can come a long, it could be out of stock when you are going to buy, or a comparable / better product goes on sale. I never mentioned that a 128gb SSD is pointless. I mentioned that 128gb is not a lot of space hence it probably isn't the brightest idea to just have the SSD and no HDD for storage unless you only plan on playing a few games and doing absolutely nothing else. You didn't put any effort into your post so only so much can be said...

I had found the ram by googling and I thank him for that but giving just a combination of 4 numbers isn't really helpful. And the hard drive recommendations weren't even alternatives because right afterwards he said that getting an SSD is pointless at 128gb. So you claim half his post is "meh," and then you get mad when we show you that he listed suggestions in everything, saying that you don't know enough... It's not so much that we think you know what he is talking about so much as you deliberately saying "half his post is meh" when he answered everything that he criticized... This is what I was saying... literally 5 minutes of googling would find some of this information. "Best budget gaming GPU," a basic SSD search, etc. would all be very informative. Edit: I probably should have just mentioned searching on newegg as well, lol. Forgot about that.

I need some advice on which card to get as I have absolutely no clue. One of the games I stream is super CPU intensive so the cpu usage of the card must be minimal. I'm willing to spend up to around 200-250 and I've been looking at a AVerMedia C985 which retails for around 220AUD. I'm using OBS 720p @ 30fps atm but hoping for 1080p at some point. I think that's currently the most recommended capture card. Then again, it's also newer & I wouldn't be surprised if Avermedia's competitors were also coming out with new stuff. Capture cards seem to be one of those areas that's in the process of being developed. I don't think you'd be going wrong with the C985 though. There was a thread specifically about that card in the tech support forum. I didn't follow it that closely, but maybe you can get some of your generic answers there. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=366599¤tpage=2 Make sure the card is compatible with the software you use though. I think there was some mention of the Avermedia C985 not working with FFsplit. I'm not a streamer, so... I think that was about as helpful as I could be.

Have another question: I had a friend that owns a net cafe come to me asking me to draft a list of parts that he could upgrade all their systems to. I think i've come up with a good list but I figure there's no harm in running it by TL's experts. A couple of notes, he doesn't need an OS or HDD or optical as everything boots from a master image on a server and they already have 1080p monitors. Because it's an internet cafe a large variety of different games will be played from new FPS games like BF3, COD, to RTS games like SC2+HoTS. Also he'd like them to last as long as possible to save money so 3yr+ upgrade cycle. Also his current rigs are built with cases that come with pre-attached psus of dubious quality not to mention they have a single 120mm rear exhaust fan that tends to cause components to overheat, so I figured upgrading those would be in his best interest as well. Buying from www.pccasegear.com.au and www.pcdiy.com.au if possible. My list: cpu: i5-3300 $180 mobo: GIGABYTE B75M-D3V $63 gpu: 7870 2GB POWERCOLOR $226 ram: 8GB SINGLE 1600 KINGSTON $38 case: Antec 300 $63 psu: Silverstone Strider 500W ST50F-ES $59 Total: $648

they will basicly perform the same for gaming and be cheaper Bitfenix merc alpha is cheaper and a good case rest is fine (even if for a internet cafe i would just get hd7850's, should be enough for most games and would cost less too, the cafe that sponsors my team only have 6770's in their pc's and it's not like they weren't overbooked all the time)

NZXT Gamma (still the best $50 or less case out there?) Walmart.com was the cheapest when i bought it 2 years ago. I know it's a love/hate case but i love the look. RAM CL8, 1.5v Corsairs Ballstix 2 x 2gb: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=Suggested&Description=20-148 Seems really awesome to find some cl8s at 1.5v at the low price range. PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026 $35. 32A on 12v rail, that's higher than the neoeco, which is $5 more. Seems to be the best PSU under $50, or rather, the most 12v amperage you can get under $50. I'm not sure on HDD but I'm seeing caviar blacks go for $10 on ebay on 80gb. I've had my current caviar blue for 2 years and only used 40gb on it, so dont need more than 80gb if I'm going by 50% storage. Everything else I either know what to get or not sure on. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with another phenom x4 or i5-k. probably phenom x4 since it's 25-33% the price used vs used/new vs new. i know its a shame to ever go amd instead of intel but the phenom x4 performance is more than enough for my needs (streaming sc2) and a nice c3/zosma would overclock far enough to make it a far better choice at it's price point (if anyone who streams has gone from phenom x4 to i5 could tell me how it went, id love to hear your perspective).

I know Vengeance RAM is not needed, but it was just 1 euro more expensive and generally sells better 2nd hand (in past experiences that is the case, might have been coincidence though) So, are there any big flaws in the build or is it pretty much ok?

They include a power supply that's probably somewhere around Corsair CX in quality (decent, not that good). Performance is a little better too. Anandtech has a review on SG05, Fractal Design Node 304, and CM Elite 120. Some results here. The build looks pretty much okay. P.S. I hear there are plans for more highlighting in near future. Feels weird now.
