You know what they'll do? They ll go cry about how they got scamed in the trade and can't stand a chance now, and go :
- please SK Telecom, seriously!?
SK telecom's boss will take in a deep breath and call KeSPA CEO :
- it's ok... the Freecs can get Soulkey and Parting.

More likely
- Kick these annoying whiners out of the league and lock their players in the same cell as Soulkey and Parting
How accurate is Liquipedia on this matter? It states regarding Life's Code A match: "Postponed until further notice" - so there was some kind of update, but NO ban yet? If that's the case, wouldn't this mean they aren't really convinced of Life being guilty? I mean... If it was certain, they could just kick him out of the tournament. Couldn't they?

you are right and I hope for Life nothing is true and he will be able to play

It's weird that it's taking so long. The Prime guys were immediately banned iirc

More likely there's still investigations going on or they're trying to get him to roll on a deal for a reduced sentence. I think the "Postponed till Further Notice" thing is just a placeholder. As I said earlier in the thread, Bunny will advance by forfeit, whether it's a KeSPA enforced forfeit or not.

Life is NOT CONVICTED YET. We do not know what is happening.
So are you saying you think we'll see Life playing SC2 again, competing? Do you really think that might happen?
If he is not guilty i don't see why not. MarineKing still plays...
Marineking wasn't charged. That's the difference
He is arrested on match fixing charges not charged on match fixing. There is a difference.
MarineKing was also introgated on match fixing charges. We are John Snow right now. We know nothing.

He's not gonna play for Afreeca for sure. They already Photoshopped him out of the team picture.
I did not know that. I just hope he is not guilty and that he's photoshoped back.
I just can't deal with another SaviOr deception.
Life has been charged. Arrested and charged as per the OP's translation.
Also it's very important to note the exact charge is not match-fixing, but for receiving money for match-fixing. That means there's a paper trail connecting Life.
I know innocent until proven guilty, but in high profile cases (yes this counts) they aren't going to jump the gun on formally pressing charges. So even if he avoids a guilty verdict, I doubt he'll be able to dodge a KeSPA ban.
I hope it's strictly correct, because as you can see from the page 255 (Google's numbering) of The Quality of Life in Korea: Comparative and Dynamic Perspectives, the difference of conviction rates for those merely arrested and those that are indicted by the prosecutor is huge. About half of people arrested in contrast to almost all that are prosecuted.
Edit: I actually read this wrong, seems like if you believe this chart and dramatic changes haven't happened since 1999, even prosecution hasn't been that certain to result in conviction and arrests are far, far away from that.
BTW, that doesn't mean what you think it means. The discrepancy between conviction and prosecution rate isn't just people being found not-guilty. I'm pretty certain that the vast majority of it is made of up people taking plea deals.
That's how it works in the US anyways, the majority of cases are actually plead out rather than tried in a courtroom.
Apparently plea bargains are not part of the Korean justice system but they do have something called "habui" that serves a similar purpose except is pretty limited in what kinds of crimes it can be applied to. Even in the USA it seems like many pleas do still result in conviction but I have no idea how it is with the Korean system...
Doesn't mean the players are part of that organization though, if they just get anonymous calls they can have 0 clue about who is behind it all.
It dos not make sense to me the professional SC2 players do match fixing. Players like Life make decent money from the tournaments that they play in. So it is beyond me why they would risk everything that they have worked so many years to achieve, and put basically their whole heart and soul in, just to throw it a way in one stupid move like having a match fixed. No matter whom it is coach or player or anyone else involved in illegal match fixing in any type of game it dos a lot more damage then they can ever imagine to the game, the player involved, the organisation, team members, parents, partners, over all community and last but certainly not least the fans. For anyone considering whether getting some easy money for just 1 or 2 games by match fixing have a think about other people and not just yourself, as it will always hurt and damage more then it will ever do any good, and that is just the simple truth.
Life is one of the VERY few players who make very decent money just from tournament winnings... KT and Afreeca's silence could be just that they don't know anything. The MarineKing situation was a little different with the really strange things happening in a game everyone could see. We might have not heard the last of that one either, after all MVP is not the ultimate authority in these matters... Acting so quick to ban Gerrard, B4, Yoda is actually a bit strange considering that they haven't even been tried yet.
Unless confessed, proof of bribery is extremely hard to obtain if the investigation is confined to one person involved as recipient, especially when done retrospectively without active surveillance.
I do not pretend to have legal experiences but this was hugely debated along with the mockery of the Term "quid pro quo" in the media the last few years. Although this mostly applies concerning the integrity of public officials, it could in a way extend to the situation here since it is performed by the state and not by an internal disciplinary committee "within Kespa itself" which if existed could punish suspects even without solid evidence.
Anyway i want to add another thought here regarding Kespa and their "unacceptably" slow organizational/ planning apparatus. We all saw Bomber streaming lately which means he had no idea he was going to participate son in "a Proleague" since random donations could turn out to be a huge liability in a near future within a fragile system
The Reddit community is so biased it's not even funny anymore.
To them, it's only the individual responsibility, the Korean SC2 system is PERFECT, and "Don't worry guys, LoL and DotA had huge scandals like this one too".

Until we have further information, what happened with Savior organizing a cheating scheme is completely different than accepting Money, Bribery or "some kinds of fixing". If it is proven that a player accepted money from a broker, all eSport organisations including Kespa have the right to ban him, however it might still not be enough to indict him by the STATE.
An example to that is Tobacco companies being (worldwide) the leaders in Cancer Research. Universities are not to be accused of Bribery unless it is proved that this has altered the results, even though in medical Research many factors are considered subjective - actually every single symptom is subjective in contrary to signs which are objectively measured-. This could show a paradox within the Law which could not be simply corrected or moralized. The Universities themselves or their higher "private" authorities are the only ones to decide weather it is to be banned or not.
conspiracy theory: Life actually really loved KT during his stay there, and he knew that he is going to get caught sooner or later, he decided to request the trade with Afreeca so that KT can get Leenock as his replacement. Also he just wanted to mess with ST one last time. Jokes aside, when he moved to Afreeca, I thought he was quite weird, he posted that he went to Afreeca on both his facebook and twitter, the exact same thing (thank you KT for making this possible, etc etc) whereas he usually doesn't talk much about team trade or his progamer's life on social media. (and trust me I'm friend with him on facebook, it's so damn deep you might think it belongs to some teenage girl)
I guess, innocent or not, Life is denying everything. It's much more difficult to prove anything in his case. After all he does not have a very clear mobile (does not need money) and even if he received some dirty money he can say that he does not track everything that arrives on his bank account (which is realistic since he is very young and he got much more money that he really needs).
