OH NOES THE POLLS AREN'T OFFICIAL!

12 workers seems like a bit much, the cheese timing will be kind of early compared to scout timing (especially PvZ, where you often want to 9 pylon scout).
On the other hand, I wonder if it's just my greed wanting to beat lower level players in team games talking. Some people still don't build early workers properly (queuing too much or gaps between building them). I'm trying to wrap my head around whether the change is not as big as it seems.
It will completley change buildorder timings around, but I think it's very hard to determine it's exact consequences. I think overall this is a good experiment as it does pace the boring parts of the game a bit up.

I didn't like either of those options, but I prefer "hate it" to "fucking awesome." Should have been "like," "neutral," "dislike"

Overall I really like the changes. Not sure how practical the new terran units will be though.

The serperation between masters level players and pros will be cut in half. How? Every new unit has an active ability that encourages micro on both sides, and a lot of the changes to existing units make them more micro-intensive also. The economy changes also have the potential to make macro more difficult as well.

Finally! This will give me so much reason to play in small amounts, no matter how much I lose. It just seems so enticing to try and win one tournament rather than go from rank 25 to rank 5 in the sub-masters leagues. Plus I really hope there are icons attached. 12 workers seems like a bit much, the cheese timing will be kind of early compared to scout timing (especially PvZ, where you often want to 9 pylon scout). Yeah the automated tournament is the one thing that I whole heartedly love about this announcement. Archon mode might actually make two things.

Looks like Blizzard are making changes for the spectators AND the players, Bravo!
Different and New is a good thing. I for one didn't want HoTS with 2 units cut and 3 NEW units each race. THATS NOT interesting for players.
So happy and hyped. Here's to the future strat's found and the Epic games to be played

I would've picked zerg if they had the lurker back in the wol beta, oh well.

Holy shit. Biggest changes ever. I wonder how the first season of WCS will look. Symbol will make a comeback with nydus ravager attacks.

So hyped. As should be expected early on, many things can and will change from now until release. Definitely keep the feedback coming (we'll be listening), but I would also suggest checking out the Multiplayer panel on Saturday at 2:15 PM PST. The team will be talking about the changes in-depth and their thoughts behind them. It should help answer a lot of the questions people may have right now.
Wow blizz employee?

Bases will now mine at maximum efficiency with 12 workers instead of 16 now How was this accomplished? Did they change mining behavior or did they just decrease mineral patches to 6?

I don't think changing races will be that hard with LotV.

By making micro play a much bigger role and making expanding much more important? They are trying to bring back the hardcore RTS fans and the BW old timers. Micro is cooler to watch then composition wars so the ESport should get a lot better and hopefully more popular.

Everyone is already playing zerg, now it will be even more ZvZ... Oh god...

My initial thoughts.
New Units
Pretty disappointed with where Blizzard's at thus far. The only unit I like isn't a new unit at all. My "favourite" (ignoring Lurker) would have to be the HERC, just because it seems to have some neat micro potential, but even that feels gimmicky. Seems like a major overlap with the original intent of the Hellbat overall (anti-ling/bane). I guess one could make the argument that now both bio and mech have their own reasonable (but unique) responses to mass ling/bane, potentially opening up different play styles.
Disruptor feels as crazy as the replicator was in terms of lack of balance viability. 4 second invulnerability + AoE explosion... match that with the new distance pick-up of the warp prism, and you have absurd drops; welcome hellbat drops 2.0! I expect Blizzard will implement some some major revisions to the unit going forward.
Old Unit Updates
Pretty happy with these aside from the Corrupter. Balance aside, there are some really cool concepts coming out of this, and if there's one thing I'm especially happy with it's the changes to the Swarm Host. Very happy to see the concept modified in an effort to remove its snowball nature. Lurker's always been a superior design for Zerg positional play/siege capability.
Tempest was a unit I never liked, so seeing its role limited is quite nice. Terran and Zerg can actually make some Vikings/Corruptors to deal with them and not worry about being constantly poked into forced engagements with no recourse.

I already hate playing against muta/corruptor in PvZ. With Corruptors being able to take down buildings quickly... I forsee many headaches.
