I just don't like the idea that all these speed buffs will make these seem like the key harassment options and maybe others might seem too much less desirable (like going for zerg drops instead of mutas). It all depends on what the players go for of course, though if toss goes for a lot of phoenixes, it can keep out the air routes for zerg, but then you have more ground, yada yada... I'm just trying to think of the implications of all of it; I don't want variety of harassment methods to go out the window and I don't want them making changes that make it too easy to keep harrasment tools like warp prisms, mutalisks and medivacs alive. | ||

Everyone knows the reason why it's boring to watch any PvX is because Protoss simply cannot effectively trade units like Terran or Zergs do. That's why Protoss rely heavily on 1) force shield, 2) timing attack, or 3) all in. This is a problem with the design concept of warp in and weak gateway units. | ||

Making it cheaper (75/75) would encourage more use. (same should happen to Overlord Speed/Burrow) I still think the most glaring problem at the highest level is that Medivac Afterburners are free. Medivacs always have a ton of Energy, rarely needing to worry about overstimming. Feedbacking Medivacs in late-game usually just snipes them off in one shot. Making Afterburners cost a little Energy would make Feedback prevent Medivacs from using boost, but would kill them a lot less. A fair trade for Terrans having to decide whether to spend their Medivac Energy on Heal, or on Boost. It's definitely a nerf, but a fair one for a free spell. A slight buff to Oracle speed should make them easier to keep alive, just leave acceleration where it is. Oracle harass seems to be just as underused as Prism harass. Making both a bit better means more choices. ![]() TLDR: I like this idea, but think it needs to be moved to Cyber Core instead, and also buff Oracle speed. Actually the best way to nerf afterburners is to buff them. Remove the cooldown but give it a 25 energy use. This means that using afterburners often will weaken their healing--but have the side effect that using it a lot will increase mobility. This also means you can't use afterburners to escape after a big fight (healing drains energy too much) while at the same time give players the ability to turn off medivac healing to "boost" their ability to use afterburners. It would separate good medivac users from bad medivac users by leaps and bounds. | ||

Zerg stay shit? Since when has Zerg been 'shit' recently? A lot of your posting seems to be about stuff being good against Zerg. Hate to say it, but you might be needing to improve YOUR play, not Zerg in general? Lets look at Zerg recently: Last MLG Champ: Life (Zerg) Last Dreamhack Champ: Leenock (Zerg) Last GSL Champ: RorO (Zerg) (Granted WoL but w/e) Zerg is NOT 'shit' right now. In no way do I think its imbalanced overall as a race (not saying that at all), but it certainly is NOT 'shit' as you put it. Edit - For some perspective, I think (barring HasuObs winning EPS Germany, not a 'proper' international major imo though) we are still waiting on a Protoss win in a major tourney in HotS... Not suggesting underpowered, but just saying! | ||
