At least Europe will have mainly European players in it, but NA is not even worth watching for me now, and I would definitely be pissed if I was a NA pro player. There are no true NA pro players, that's the problem.Semi-pros at best, but most of them are still studying or working part-time or something.
And there never will be if already "established" teams can just shuttle korean talent into NA.
There is absolutely no incentive for upcoming NA player to get "good" at starcraft.

What needs to happen by next year for the WCS: 1. All games should be played offline other than qualifier matches. If all games was played offline, this would deter Koreans from playing in NA/EU. Koreans are not going to sign up to play 6 months in NA/EU regions if they have to move to that region of choice. It will also make Koreans practice in NA/EU regions and move to team house in the region 2. Keep the region lock but you only change regions at the first of the year (Season 1) and before season. 3. Players will only need to stay in the region for 6 months or so. This makes players not have question living in American for whole year. Which is too long. People have family and friends to worry a about and what about kids in school. Also, Increase the Prize Pool for both GSL and OSL because it's just the right thing to do.

I don't have anything against korean players, but for me it is just natural to root for players from my country or at least continent.
More importantly, that they are allowed to qualify online for NA and EU, but NA and EU players have to go to Korea to qualify for WCS there. They get their travel costs covered through NA, but if you go to GSL, you pay your own way the whole way(not 100% equal, since that airport is in the same city, but still). I can see why NA players who invested the time in Korea, or Demulsim, who got a work visa(which costs money) would be pissed.

If it's a Korean vs Korean match in NA region online part, they will play on NA ladder?

about the olympic guys "you not watch them for blabla you watch them for best games you make me sick etc" i dont find it to quote ^^ NO! i watch it to see germans win and so alot watch sc2 to see foreigns or their homeland guys win, i rly no care good games from koreans in europe i want GERMANS to win, in sport everyone is a nationalist for sure and in esport why it have to be different ? its a bit i also like EVERY european win

Why do you think there's so many more Koreans going to USA than EU? USA has a serious lack of talent. NA will be more interesting to watch now.

This is pretty terrible lmao. The entire point of WCS and this initiative was to get other countries/regions to have an ecosystem of their own, as well as infuse prize money that those players in those regions could feasibly win.
Instead, what we have set up is a system where blizzard basically said, "here koreans, free moneys, foreigners...screw you." Perhaps that was not their intention, but that's going to be the result.
So what is the incentive here for people to train, and invest their own money to go to events, etc? You know a korean with 10x the training, a team house, team backing will be at the event.
Oh wait, I got that wrong. Instead of a few like previously, now it's going to be 15+ all here to take your region's cash lol.
This is insanely stupid. Imagine the Olympics allowing NBA teams to play "in any region." I can imagine it now.
"Welcome to the 2016 Olympic basketball finals! Your finalists, China's LA lakers, Russia's Boston Celtics, Canada's Clippers," wait a minute...what happened to the other countries basketball teams?

I don't care about Koreans stealing spots from Europeans or North Americans, I'm just sad that the talent in the GSL is being diffused and so it will lose some of the allure. Plus, what is the GSL without Nestea, MVP, MC, Taeja, and Ryung. They have been mainstays for so long...
Also, where is Jjakji? He didn't try out for the Code A qualifiers and isn't on that list either (unless I missed something)...

Why are you speaking so much about viewers. WCS was about growing regional scenes, you already know regional scene will get lower amount of viewers, specially when you put them on the same weekend of a regular MLG. Which was completly retarded from MLG. WCS EU in comparison did a pretty good job and got shit tons of viewers and positive responses, even if it wasn't the highest level of play, definitly helpin the EU scene and pro players by getting exposure and a reason to train.
