Wonder where he will end up and what made him decide to leave. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my understanding that StarTale did not permit its players to practice with each other. The only times they were allowed to play each other was if they happened to get matched on ladder like anyone else.

PartinG and Polt told their team and coaches prior to their leaving, and left with no hard feeling and only good thoughts. PuMa gave no warning, and simply left the team with no warning, which is why it offended a lot of people, usually Koreans because it went against the respect a player should have for their coach. furthermore PuMa left right after winning nasl if I recall correctly. That is like becoming something finally valuable and leaving for another team from the team that invested in you to become who you are. Parting and Polt both stuck around for a good time now.

Lots of cool stuff going on. Between these free agents and hopefully getting to see MajOr with Team 8, lots of new story lines for 2013.

Just look at every ST interview and see who they thank. Otherwise you lose one of the biggest advantages of being on a team in the first place. You may be mixed up about the practice ban. ST and the other eSF teams did not practice with SlayerS players for a few months.

He was the most succesful player last year and salaried code B calibre players were making more than him.

Yup, when Naniwa was part of the team via the Quantic merger he apparently practiced with Bomber for GSL until Bomber was too tired to play anymore.

Not many though, he was getting a special salary from the Red Bull sponsorship, or at least that's what was released when Red Bull announced their StarTale sponsorship. I'm not convinced this is a money issue. I'd guess something else happened.
