He said on his stream that he would like to join liquid ![]() ![]() Pretty sure that's over or coming to a close. Lol if you think he hasn't been looking for a team. I am sure he has been, personally I think Mionix style sponsors fit him better than most, but it certainly would be unreasonable to say that was his only option given how good he is. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing him on a KeSPA team like MajOr if things settled correctly, I would really like for Nani to overcome his reputation as a team jumper. He will stay on a team, but historically has proven relatively difficult to manage. I am sure this is a consideration for any team looking at him.

I can't even name a tournament I have seen him play in the last six months, except for IPL where we had the shitstorm about someone stealing his mouse. ESF teams will start to struggle more and more imo with Kespa/more foreign teams entering Korea unless they can market themselves a lot better than they are atm. Good luck to Parting I'm sure he will get picked up quickly. of all the esf teams though, Startale had the most stable sponsorships, with some of their players even having personal sponsorships from redbull. if Startale can't retain their star players, then the problems for the esf teams are more serious than most of us had any idea.

Would be an amazing pickup for FXO to be sure, but from what I've seen FXO KR haven't really actively searched out experienced progamers for their team. I wonder if Boss is lurking around, since I'd like to know if acquisition is something they're interested in?

Naniwa is still one of the most popular foreigners and still will be in the upcoming year. Just look at how many people watch his stream... So saying he doesnt have the marketibility is a little too much. Agree that parting and polt are higher, but supernova and stc are nonames compared to naniwa in the foreign world.

SlayerS is not eSF, but they were actually part of the deal and included in it. However, it's possible that SlayerS was a special case (due to the team disbanding) or Dark was not on the 25-player roster that SlayerS submitted to KeSPA as a "no touch" list. Someone should def. pick TheStC up though ... come on, he's like one of the few Koreans who isn't going to go to the military. Worthy investment, imo. (Hell, ST could use some more Terrans...) :D?

+ Show Spoiler + “스타테일도 좋은 팀이지만 한 살이라도 어릴 때 더 많은 경혐을 해보고 싶어 이 같은 결정을 내리게 됐다” And i'm not sure if that's just a PR statement, and the real reason was money or something, but if you take it at it's surface value it definitely sounds like he's at least considering foreign teams.

Plus StC has the QuanticST connection, so he probably is good friends with some ST players.

In last year's second half, PartinG won BWC (Battlenet World Championship) and WCG (World Cyber Games) side by side, dominating strongly with his skills. Early morning on the 3rd, Coach Won decided upon the future of PartinG, respecting his will and amicably split. On the 3rd, Coach Won said, "I am grateful for the time and effort PartinG gave to the team, and where ever he goes, he finds success" PartinG, who decide to leave, said, "StarTale is a great team, and I've been on the team for one year, but I want to experience more. For the time I was on ST, I am thankful for the coach". PartinG's future has not been fully determined yet, and has said he will find a team quickly. Yeah, I'm sure he left ST without finding a new team, didn't get offers or anything, just decided to leave. :p

I think progamers typically respect their teams enough to not go hunting whilst still using their services. Unless they've been bought, which is super rare.

See the difference between PartinG + Polt leaving their teams, to say, PuMa. PartinG and Polt told their team and coaches prior to their leaving, and left with no hard feeling and only good thoughts. PuMa gave no warning, and simply left the team, putting money over team respect, which is why it offended a lot of people, usually Koreans because it went against the respect a player should have for their coach.
