Parting and Lebron join forces.

EG is not going to fail are you insane. They are so good at keeping there sponsors happy. They pretty much the only team where an average TL user can say all there sponsors. EG will keep growing and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if EG actually became the most successfully sc2 team in the world. (financial and results)

EG getting a strong lineup of Korean players doesn't make them less appealing to their old fans, it brings in new fans who like players like Jaedong and Revival. Fans of Korean teams will warm up to them since they are putting so much effort into Proleague with getting their own training facility and recruiting good KR players. As someone who didn't used to really like EG I now have more respect for them after starting to play PL and recruiting someone like Revival who is VERY GOOD but not very famous.
As long as their personalities are still visible in the scene they don't lose fans.

Getting vibes from either EG or SK-Gaming, probably would be cool with another player for SK.

As long as their personalities are still visible in the scene they don't lose fans. This. I used to HATE EG. It wasn't because I hated them just for kicks, I saw statements made by their players about imbalances back in beta and the general trend of ridiculousness that was their recruiting of already famous players and then the "EG Curse" striking said players. Recently, and by that I mean in the last 6-10 months a lot of this happened, EG changed the way they work with recruiting, they started recruiting players that made sense for the team, rather than what seemed to be haphazard pick ups by them. They tried to stay out drama as much as possible, even when the SlayerS-EG pact ended, and their pickups have gotten better results as of late. I have a lot of respect for EG now more than ever with the EG-TL proleague thing going and the amount of foreign fans they have brought into the Korean scene. I just really like where they are going, and where they are going isn't alienating the old fans.

If Parting went EG I'd fall out of my chair laughing.

There's definitely a good chance of this happening. Originally, liquid seemed kinda likely, but if Snute is going there, EG seems to be where the smart money is at. Note that I'm wildly speculating and am probably 100% wrong lol
