He knows English, how to run a stream, and is going to America to solely focus on foreign tournaments and learn English. Parting is mega popular and a great personality, but he doesn't know English. Polt is already the best Korean at English and will probably be able to become an English caster by the end of his year. If Snute leaves, I'd say the top five are: 1. Polt 2. Snute 3. Parting 4. Supernova 5. TheStC This is solely from a foreign team standpoint. If you're just looking for results in 2013 at the highest level, you obviously take Parting then Polt and then the rest. YUGIOH

I really doubt Life was making a lot in salary for this year, but with his success at the end of the year and now contracts being made for 2013 It's possible that Startale decided to allocate the majority of their resources to Life's pay. PartinG maybe felt it was unfair and wanted to look elsewhere, PartinG did win stuff but life won two GSL's, which is more important to Startale. Also possible that's totally wrong and PartinG just wanted to leave for a rich foreign team regardless, I have to wonder how hard Startale tried to keep him.

A fair point Fionn, I even with recent showings I think that a strong Protoss outweighs a Zerg like Snute (I like Snute well enough, but you know imo and the like), Snute is in an interesting group as far as foreign Zerg go these days.

IMO you left out Golden. Golden isn't a very accomplished player, yes. But anyone who saw him in the ffa at NASL and can think a few steps further should know that he is a very entertaining guy. A good team could surely market him extremely good! I think TheStC is worth more than Supernova due to it's reputation of always being smiling. I know this sounds arbitrary, but at least to me it feels like a valuable thing. He seems super nice!

ESF teams will start to struggle more and more imo with Kespa/more foreign teams entering Korea unless they can market themselves a lot better than they are atm. Good luck to Parting I'm sure he will get picked up quickly. ESF teams don't have a strict contract for their players, most of them may not even have contracts. They can't control their players, players will do whatever they want, in the long run, sponsors will never become owner if they can't control players.

Not sure he qualifies as looking for a new team He does, he said it many times that it is only temporary partnership that fits him well, but he is still looking for a new team. He said on his stream that he would like to join liquid ![]() ![]()

On the January 3rd, through StarTale's press release, Won Lee Sak (PartinG) has left to find a new team. In last year's second half, PartinG won BWC (Battlenet World Championship) and WCG (World Cyber Games) side by side, dominating strongly with his skills. Early morning on the 3rd, Coach Won decided upon the future of PartinG, respecting his will and amicably split. On the 3rd, Coach Won said, "I am grateful for the time and effort PartinG gave to the team, and where ever he goes, he finds success" PartinG, who decide to leave, said, "StarTale is a great team, but I wanted to experience more since last year. For the time I was on ST, I am thankful for the coach". PartinG's future has not been fully determined yet, and has said he will find a team quickly.
