As emotionally invested as people are on this topic, TL rules still apply. That includes flaming and ad hominem attacks. |

No but if your job gives you the passwords to all the media sites and you post a bunch of cocks and bullshit on the pages you will get fired and probably sued for the losses that they can incur because of your acts.

Look at how DEEPLY different these statements are:
"to be entirely blunt, I don't think you're attractive, I'm sorry about that"
"Look at her she looks like a man so fucking hideous haha why doesnt she wear a bag on her head" I don't see why being sorry for an opinion is somehow supposed to absolve you of any wrongdoing vs not being sorry. See I'm not getting the I'm sorry part seemingly making stuff like this OK vs not saying it and being deemed an asshole. The fact that it was even said to that person's face makes it a shitty thing to do. Destiny did no such thing. You have no idea if that sorry is empty or not. If you expect the person on the other side to handle one of those statements better vs the other you're kidding yourself.
I said, it's not about being sorry for the opinion, the sorry would be stating remorse for the fact that she doesn't have what he perceives to be an ideal aesthetic facial structure, as opposed to apparently taking a great deal of confidence from affirming that opinion and a great deal of enjoyment from telling everyone.

It makes me sad how a vocal minority ruins things for the majority, you will contatact sponsers to say that so and so did this and that and you wont support them but i know you are not contacting them suporting them for sponsering the team in the first place. I love watching destiny for who he is, and will continue watching him wether he is on a team, playing pro starcraft or anything else he streams cause he is an entertaining person.

Destiny repeatedly shows that when something is going wrong, he will make the worst decision in the heat of the moment. He just has to take it that one extra step instead of letting things go.

I have alywas liked ROOT-gaming, Catz, destiny are really hilarious. And when they picked up players like vibe, rotterdam etc. I was so thrilled.
Destiny have always been a bad boy, but an honest bad boy. I personally dont think destiny have done noting wrong, will love him no matter what he does. ROOT gaming on the other hand, not my favorite team anymore
aslo, what she did is illegal.

If she signed an agreement as such then that could be an argument.
However, my guess is the following.
There was no formalized agreement between Destiny and the girl. That will make it harder to prove in court. 2) Seeing as how these pictures were not work-related, it becomes harder to argue that she was using work material illegally (eg. breaching an NDA or sharing trade secrets) because this clearly is not an asset to the company (his dick pictures do not add value to his "business"). So it would still be tough to argue this.

So I was able to figure out what really happened in about 15min by reading Destiny's reddit posts (reddit.com/neodestiny), and Fayth and TT1's TL posts. For some reason it seems like majority of the internet cannot figure it out.
My question is: why doesnt' Destiny simply release an official statement regarding the whole issue? He has enough followers and fans and he's a big enough "celebrity" that I think majority of TL and reddit would read it. And I think most people would side with him once they learn the truth.

So?
It's still not illegal, assuming Destiny knowingly provided her the pictures. Which he did by giving her his passwords.
The work case is there, but seeing as how these pictures aren't work-related I don't see how that argument would hold water. I would have to look into legal cases in the US to see (I'm a Canadian).

Public image IS important to the sponsors, things the poeple in ROOT do affects more than themselves, whether they like it or not. Behave accordingly.

Yeah we really should do more of that. I emailed Mionix for their sponsorship of Naniwa, and that I was thinking of purchasing one of their mice. I was previously unaware of the company and this was a good example of the benefits of being involved in E-sports. I'm not some great guy for doing this obviously, but I'd imagine it'd help if we did more positive things like this as a community. It's the same with many other things. People prefer to air grievances as opposed to affirming their support for things, it's why we have this tyrannical silent minority who like to decide the fate of players in the scene.
Naniwa's another good example actually come to think of it. People prefer to have faux apologies and disingenuous people in the scene, rather than somebody who tells it how he sees it. The amount of flak that guy gets is ridiculous, because he's not considered likable it's fine though.....

I'm don't think just because she has his image, she's allowed to distribute them. (and vice versa) But I'm no lawyer, so what do I know. That seems reasonable, but that's actually untrue. If Destiny permitted her to take those photos, or he was aware of their existence when he provided her with the password, the likely argument is he gave consent for her to use the pictures as she saw fit. Legally this case would hold no water assuming she got into the pictures using his password previously provided to her. and destinys reddit posts about sending her nude pics to her dean and work doenst help the case either If English is too difficult for you to comprehend, then maybe you should avoid posting and reading in it?
Steven's threat was not about sending pictures to her work/the dean but rather informing them on what she did to him, which was put his dick on his own internet page for 30,000+ people to see.

It's pathetically transparent how you try to pass off your continued insults on this public forum as "not denying that you said you didnt find her attractive." ok I'll be careful with my wording, but essentially both statements mean the same thing
No, they don't essentially mean the same thing, holy shit. you must have felt sad before? Right, like emotions?
That's like saying
"oh look haha terrorists flew planes into the world trade center LOL I bet some stupid kids died hah im probably going to go buy an ice cream for my children now unlike those parents since their kids got owned. what, it's wrong to say what I think happened just because I used the wrong words?"
and
"It seems there's been a tragic attack in new york today, my heart goes out to everyone who lost their lives prematurely that day and my deepest condolences and prayers to their families"
are "esentially" the same thing because they both state the exact same fact.... There's simply a big difference in what they say, imply and what they mean to other people.
Tl;dr: don't be surprised people dont like you when you act like a cunt.

It makes me extremely happy that teams can be held accountable for what players they hire do. If ROOT had it's way it would look like they would have found any reason to keep Destiny on-board. You can't ****ing control Destiny so why did ROOT even bother signing him in the first place if something was bound to happen?
Also it's easier to aggresively hate than it is to actively love.

i totally agree with this.. otherwise it will just be word for word bantering going back and forth.
If people say E-sports will get bigger and bigger then why not have press conferences (well kind of), just to have the issue stopped.
80+ pages is enough to have it accurately sorted,
