If this is the attitude KeSPA's going to take, why would they even begin to participate actively within foreign events? Are they just not going to send players at all, if they have upcoming OSL matches to prepare for? Then I expect their players are just going to have less exposure than the ESF players, plain and simple, which is bad for them. Now my only wish is for Kespa team to rebel.. Been wishing that for a long time since it appears they really really don't like the iron grip kespa has. If they do it and with esf players rebelling, good lord this drama would be beautiful. Honestly, this will be resolved rather quickly. Blizzard actually has the legal and physical power to literally pull the plug on any KeSPA or GOM tournament by banning IP's and barring them from using starcraft legally. They can force the two to get along if they choose to get involved. I think that'd happen before a KeSPA team rebels, since they'd risk losing sponsorship. So I buy a game and then you ban my IP? Do you think this is how it works? Have you ever heard of customer protections?
It's not about whether or not you can play, it's about whether or not you can host a tournament
you'd be surprised to learn about the grip that Blizz has on SC2 competitions

obviously they won't but at the end of the say gom were quite nice to kespa allowing them to reschedule if so etc, kespa said no and thus esF pulled out of osl because of this big project which is obviously an equivalent to msl and thus gom feel like they will be pushed out again.

As much as I don't like Kespa, blizzard forcing their way won't help. This is a korean matter, blizzard should try and be the peacemaker.
They are acting as a peacekeeper, only instead of using neutral arbitration, they're using nuclear weapons to prevent two countries from going to war!

Doesn't apply to corporations using your intellectual property for profit. Also, look at the KeSPA vs Blizzard fiasco in BW if you want to see how they've dealt with this stuff in the past.

But when unpaid (except LG_IM ) players organization ESPF pulls thier guys out of already determined toruney. It is the greatest thing ever.
People always mention how KESPA B teamers must feel well asleast they get paid. I am sure MKP is super excited about this. This shouldn't be confusing. They are retaliating because this is what kespa did in bw to gom. They did not let their players play in GSL and it ended up KILLING gom for bw. As far as I know they disappeared from the bw scene after that. They do NOT want a repeat of that. Can you blame them? I don't I actually support their decision. Kespa players themselves are even confused to why they cant play in gom. I hope this forces kespa to let their players make the decision. Because right now OSL is not going to happen or have to be restarted. Ok but KESPA players signed contracts right? It is like the NFL letting its players play in the Arena Football League while the NFL is still having its playoffs. I like GOM but I like the OSL formate better. They have 2 big tournments a year and it makes them a bigger deal to win. Another football reference GOM is like having 16 Superbowls in 2 and half years. I feel ESPF are being the bigger dicks here. GOM asked KESPA do you want to come to our wedding.KESPA says no. Then GOM act like a crazy person and leaves OSL at the altar. Personally I think that is a more dick move. Can someone clear this up for me. GOMTV is not on brodcast Korean TV right? If so does this make OGN more likely to want to work with ESPF. Being on brodcast TV is how the KESPA teams get the big sponsorships. KESPA are trying to brute-force GOM out the SC2 industry. How can you call them the better man?
KESPA said said they would participate in GSL they did not say when. ESPF players already "committed to OSL" then left halfway thru. Like telling a MLG hey I can not make this event to.Pulling a last shadow and leaving. Can you imagine MKP walking out of an MLG Grand Finals. Big MKP fan but SC2 is not as big in Korea as BW was, thus MKP will never be as big of star in Korea as a TOP BW player. The way things are looking he will never be.IF things turn south OGN will never let these players back in.
It is a business decision KEPSAOGN is not gonna let thier players play in GOM while their 2 flagships programs PL playoffs and OSL are going on. Like I said earlier it would be like having some great NFL players go play in the Candian Football Leauge on Superbowl Sunday.

mmm now i am kinda curious. Will Blizzard give out new licenses for HotS, as WoL could theoretically go on. In that case kespa might end up in trouble. Hyped for hots even more lol.

MLG already came out and said they knew "for weeks" that KeSPA players wouldn't be coming, they just chose not to announce it.

KeSPA is pretty universally hated except a few fanatic (which oddly enough seems to be more in TL than in Korea). BW fans put up with them because there was no alternative, SC2 fans obviously is not going to put up with it.
