Perhaps its time for the sad Marine or Marauder fan club?
Hopefully in the expansion TvZ and TvP will stop being a race against time to win the game quickly before it becomes unmanagable. Even if they balance it 50/50 in WoL (Terran early game success vs Zerg/Protoss ability to survive and win the game) it still isn't particularly fun or interesting having phases in the game where one race is so much stronger than the other.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing how MKP and Maru do in their groups, that will be a big indication for me at least. Considering the sad zealot fanclub was full of people bemoaning earth shattering results like Tester falling out of code A (oh wait he wasn't practising), it isn't much of a stretch really...
From my brief look through this months TLPD we're also heading towards Terran overall winrates on par, or worse than the Protoss results at the time of that thread too...

Well, I guess I'll watch GSL code S this evening... feels like the last stand. yea but see this is why you aren't a pro. if you think it was a 'simple 2 base colo' there's much much more depth to a game than that. This "you're not a pro" talk is just ridiculous. I don't need to be a pro to watch a football game and I don't need to be a pro to watch starcraft. Also, I may like the games (or not like them) regardless of whether I play them or else. I've been watching SC2 for a over a year and it's getting worse over the time. DHS seems to be just-another-nail-in-the coffin. No wonder Blizzard is going to sell a million units of HoTS, that's the only saving grace in sight. what i'm saying is you can't just pass something like a 2 base colo push as simple. There's much more to it than that. and that's what sets spectators apart from pros. they have depth. you don't. stop whining. So I expect you are a pro, so you can evaluate the movements of hero. It's wrong to say Hero's play was simple. But it's also wrong to overestimate every little move a (pro) player makes during a game. This insane glorification of banal moves really pisses me off. As if a nexus cancel is somewhat new or insanely creative these days. This stuff has been around forever. yeah it was a well executed 2base timing attack. But that's what you should expect at the very least from a (code s) pro player. This is nothing you should go crazy about.... -_- haha, i guess mypost came across a little condescending but i don't like whiners. especially when they take things for gratned

the process we see now is just putting everyone to the place he should have been in during the last months

I think that while there might have been a couple of morons doing that, the sad zealot fanclub was based on the continual domination against Protoss in tournaments around the world, and particularly in the GSL at the highest level of play, for a substantial period of time.

As a Terran in EU I have given up on ladder in season 8. I don't mind the former patches TBH, and could see the point. But the recent ghost nerf and queen buff don't make much sense when you look at them tgthr. If you nerf early and mid game terran (reactor helions opening not as viable) and then nerf late game terran (with ghost nerf) then when exactly is terran supposed to shine, except with ultra cheeses in very early game? Mind you creep spread is insane currently with the current buff to queens. Terrans need to adapt somehow, but I don't know exactly how? Anyone have an answer? I am currently in diamond MMR...

And the reason for that were Zerg going 1-7 against protoss in that particular season, while being at 50% against Terran. So you'd say that a zerg buff that aims at ZvT was the right solution for that problem?

Also, since when the zerg buffs have something to do with a protoss beating a terran? The post i quoted had NOTHING to do with the current buff.

I stopped laddering after queen buff as well. Playing terran was just not fun. Didn't understand the idea of all those nerfs/buffs... MMR was something like high masters at that point.

I stopped playing too, terran is really just not a fun race anymore... Their idea of balance is getting a little absurd.

If you play Terran on NA/EU it is completely awful. I get TvZ as probably damn near 50% of my matches and it is full of roach/ling/bling all-ins(that can be somewhat macro'd out of) or insane creep spread into late game TvZ which is extremely rough for the Terran unless you have MMA type multitasking. It isn't fun feeling hopeless in about 50% of the games you play. Now if you have a KR account, like I do, there isn't near as many Zergs and ladder is more enjoyable(although there has been a recently influx of Zerg on that server, imo). I can understand why a lot of Terrans don't want to play anymore, especially if you happened to be a mid-high masters player before the patch.

Actually the original article (here) mostly bases its argumentation around MC's slump (that in terms of his results, has continued to this day).

Yeah I feel you guys, it's getting really sad. Well at least the Z and P dudes are having fun laughing their asses of at us.

I'm watching Byun TvZ on the ladder and it's just a joke to see this matchup. He tries for 10 minutes to harass the third of a zerg who defends with queens and lings no problem. After 10 minutes of no success the zerg just counters while he's still trying to pressure and destroys basically everything Byun has. It's literally impossible to touch zergs as terran right now.

Keep looking at your charts that prove nothing. So glad I have a brain
