You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody. Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. | ||

Masters [iAnc] BarcodKilleR Never scouted, blind 1g robo into observer which sat in his main until my wm drop came in (which he couldn't have known was coming since he never scouted). Later in the game, chased my medivacs in fog ... also practically never scouted my side of the map. | ||

Server: EU League: Grandmaster http://sc2rep.ru/show.php?id=14091 First he scouted my stargate, some seconds later after he left my base with his probe, i canceled it and went for a dt shrine, he went for twilight + dt shrine + robo too, then he moved his stalkers into his natural mineral line when my warp prism was about to drop my immortals at his natural. Later in game he went straight to my proxy pylon without scouting infos when i was about to attack + always positioning his army perfect against mine in complete darkness. 100% clear hacker here. | ||

i turn to you in dire need of assistance. A qualification for a big local tournament is being held in Bulgaria and there has been great controversy whether a certain player has maphacked/production tab hacked his way to qualifying. The bulgarian community is split and everybody is accusing someone of being biased.So great detectives of TL please help us with your unbiased opinion. The incriminating clues are : 5 games he never scouts,neither with probe at start,nor observer nor hallucination.5 games the entire length 0 scout. always perfect counter - blind tempests vs collosi , blind cannons in mineral line versus unscouted spire, rallied observer to intercept incoming dts with 0 scout,suspicious moveouts and possible camera locks. server: NA league: Master Description: He did a blind 2 rax proxy on Frost LE without scouting. He then builds a bunker out of sight of my hatch. He also moved his marines up my ramp consistently when my spines were either being made or were moving. After watching the replay, he never scouted that I had taken my natural and he never had sight of my spine crawlers. http://drop.sc/373590 | ||

I honestly hope you can help us out ! pretty shure that guy is maphacking. even with scouting it´s hard to counter buillds that well. and he does it completely blind. quite a lot of things made me smile. pvp is allready going like 12 minutes, opponent goes twilight into darkshrine, 10 seconds later byronsully suddenly decides he needs a robo and builds 2 obs, although he doesn´t scout at all. or the first game vs zerg. watched it with byronsully vision only. 2 times he moves his complete army to the right side of the map, 2 times he intercepts the zerg force. | ||

I won't say anything about the PvZ games because they didn't look super fishy and my knowledge of protoss matchups is limited (although there were some questionable army movements in those game also and the consistent lack of scouting) but in the PvP game on Daedalus he's clearly mentally prepared for the first oracle that flies in to his base, despite of never scouting anything. Then there's the "oh better make a robo, but i won't make colossus" move in response to the unscouted DT shrine. | ||

I am not great with the cheese so I am not sure if this should be expected behavior. I post this not because I am particularly concerned about his hacking. I am more curious to know if he actually is hacking (I would not have even considered it if he hadn't been calling me a maphacker the whole time) and how often this could be happening to me without me even realizing it. Obviously this isn't exactly high level play here, but I am curious how prevalent map hacking is at this level. I always assumed that it was a super rare occurrence and most complaining was sour grapes. Someone care to set me straight? Thanks! | ||

Thanks! hmmmm, definitely looks like a hacker but it's hard to say. first pylon was a little weird but believable, but the second one... not sure why he would send everything up to the gold base just on a hunch that you might proxy there. although, to be fair, at that point he did already know you were trying to put up pylons. but he went straight there with everything... not a protoss but wouldn't it make more sense for him to just send the mothership core to the gold base if he wanted to scout proxies there? especially on that map the final engagement was just... weird. i have no idea what that probe pull was supposed to be, or why you would suddenly pull probes to kill an army you don't have vision of. or why a diamond(?) protoss would pull probes in that situation anyway when i've never ever seen that in a high level pvp before if he hadn't been consistently accusing and BMing you, i would say there's not enough evidence, but the way he was talking... i'd say almost definitely a hacker | ||
