Well this patch isnt official....yet......bare with me terran brothers. Obs buff, NO, why? Queen buff, LOL? Bunker comment, yeah real funny.
In all seriousness though, i dont like the idea of zergs takes ez 3 base without hellions delaying it or forcing roaches to make my marine tank push THAT much stronger as roaches are a burden unit against midgame marine tank pushes as an exchange for a fast 3rd. though tvz is my best statisically i see it as a almost stable matchup right now with a slight edge to terran, maybe they need this buff but 5 seems ridiculous 4 seems withstandable, i'd have to figure my way around that.
As for tvp, my worst, why add insult to injury?

People always overreact on balance changes in SC.
Just look at the guy above your post. How Z is going to take a quick and easy third with a Queen range of 5 is beyond me. It's not like it got "god mode".
Then they scream "BLIZZ U SUCK AT BALANCE!" and come up with their own suggestions, which could be like:
-Revert Queen buff. -Give Marines a 50/50/60 range upgrade in the tech lab. Standard range is now 4, upgraded range is 5. (just like concussive) -Zealots HP reduced to 80, Shields increased to 70. Weaker vs MM and EMP in lategame. -Remove Battlecruiser energy, make Yamato a cooldown spell. -Battlecruiserg AtG attack increased from 6 damage per 0.16 to 8 damage per 0.20, making it stronger vs armored targets (Capital ships dealing 0 damage per shot against upgraded Guardian Shielded Zealots - retarded) -Thor get's a new spell: Irradiate. 100 energy. Strike Cannons also cost 100 energy. -Stalkers now upgrade with +1 (+1 armore) instead of just +1, helps with Roach flooding in PvZ and makes Stalkers more viable overal. - Collosus movespeed reduced to 1.80 from 2.25. Makes it feel like a siege unit instead of an OP stalker - Corruptor have 1 base armor instead of 2.

I'm so happy about these zerg buffs, anything to make our lives easier. The queen buffs in particular are probably to deal with friggin void ray/pheonix timings or the occasional banshee play. Denying surprise early drops will be a little easier too.

what I've learned from reading patch notes comments, 1) Queen is becoming the #1 best zerg unit in the game, and will hard counter reapers, hellions, bunker rushes, and all-ins. 2) faster obs build time will affect... i dont know, but people are angry about it. 3) F@#% BLIZZARD !@#$^ DAVID KIM !#25^@$^@ ;ALKDJF;LAKJDF

queen buff is for her ground attack only.

It's only the ground-to-ground range that got buffed, not ground-to-air.

Id like to say that game is balanced. I never cryed that terran prottos or zerg is fuckin op. I only think that requirements for terran player army control are ridiculously harder than any other race.

You dont even know if im raging or not. No need to be a white knight here, im just saying.....5 seems overkill. Its funny watching all these white knights charging down hills telling people to stop raging and get better when its never going to stop so why bother. I gave my opinion, that is the end of it.

Reaper openings are already outdated, I don't think they served much of a purpose in high-level TvZ anyway because reapers arrive at base like 2 or 3 seconds before queens pop, depending on pool timing. Typically you're not getting reapers to kill drones, you're doing it for map control - you can still snipe tumors and get good scouting information if you really wanted to.

Hope they aren't jumping the gun in terms of balance , pretty helpful though, will enjoy faster overlords, and a better 4 queen build.

This affects greedy toss builds like 2gate robo into double forge. You think "at time X the toss will also have an immortal to defend with" and that X just became X-10 seconds. Turtle FTW gets another buff.
