Blizz said they wanted zerg to have more creep to better deal with early hellions. But instead they're increasing queen range so that hellions can't kite them anymore.

Lol can't wait for the Terran whine flood that will come from this. I don't honestly know what timing window Terran has to deal solid damage to the Protoss if the Protoss is on top of his game along with playing safe and solid midgame. The most senseful thing I take from blizzards post is that Terran has to focus a ton on economy and upgrades during this window they think Terran can do damage. Just seems kinda coinflippy anyway since Protoss can be just as aggressive at this timing window if they skip the double forge. I think scouting is what needs to be improved for Terran so they can push their late game oriented builds without being called a coin flipper.
Seeing how MVP approaches his game style vs Protoss doesn't actually make it feel better. I think if they truly were on an even playing ground we'd see more top level terrans not play so gimmicky and mistake oriented style instead just play solid macro games. At same time I rarely see protosses coin flip or take risks because all of them feel so confident in macro games....

I mean it's understandable he mixes up like he's known for but he seemed kind of desperate after halfway into that series. And I mean it's just not some Terran were talking about here, MVP is actually just the best Terran who's speciality is to design new solid builds
I guess they really only care about the winrates and don't care about how horrible the state of TvP in general is. The MU is completely fucked . I mean do they really want to basically tell Terrans to win by minute X or your at a big disadvantage ? What kind of non-sense is that ? If the Toss plays save enough its not really possible to do decent damage . Thats not good game design.

Are you serious? It doesn't hurt marine micro early game at all, except against queens....and the ONLY time you will ever need to micro marines against queens is when you have 2-3 marines against a queen, which is negligible. After that queens do so little damage to marines kiting them is pointless.
Ever since queen movement speed off creep was reduced, it makes sense to increase range to at least 4.
This is definitely a better move to help zerg early game than changing queen energy.
This change makes hydralisks even more terrible units though. Fixing hydralisks has been the most important problem Blizzard could do for zerg in the longest time (since like release).

Aside from it's humor value it's really good to show that overlord are still worse scouting than a floating building. Not only to buildings have what— 5 times more health or something but they have a significantly faster movement speed too. definitely more than worth the 50 extra minerals. There's also the issue of building location and build time too, but still. (I've personally wondered why people don't use floating buildings more than now instead of scans. Sure they use them, but not a whole lot)

it's the problem with the creep not killing... 4 - 6 hellions are enough to deny creep

That's fucking so stupid. Bunker rushes are all but worthless. You move 2 hex back and queen is out of range of the bunker with marines in it...completely out of range. Now you can't bunker in any cove with any kind of high ground, because queens can pick your ass away.
In before mass queens becomes a new strat.
Queens don't outrange marines in a bunker do they? I thought marines had 5 range at least...
The 5 range will kill my Reaper builds in TvZ . I mean its kinda hard to do anything with them the way it is but with 5 range Reapers will become a TvT only unit , great i guess the BC isn't alone in that anymore.
