Transfuse the moment the queen is spawned. I feel like it shuts down a lot of protoss aggression and some terran aggression too.

ppl really need to go on the map and test this with friends. it doesnt shut anything down. the aggression is still there, just less powerful than before and slightly easier to defend.

I've seen it, i've tested it
It does shut down quite a bit more than it did in before. Void ray pheonix already won't kill a third. But now you can't lift a queen and kill it with pheonix because theres a much faster transfuse.
Catching a good timing against a new third with a set of zealots after a 3 hatch build is much less effective. The queen when it gets there or after it spawns can transfuse a spinecrawler as its building more than before. Lay one creep tumour, walk to third even if they get there with units before you as zerg are ready the transfuse will save you now whereas it didn't before.
Its problematic because newer or more intricate timings on the third can be shut down much more easily.

Yea alot of allins early on too wont be nearly as useful. For example, if i think terran is allinning i just make 4 spines and make 2 more queens and have 2+ transfuses on the spot GG son.

People are worried about transfuse but your forgetting Zerg will cover the map in creep like twice as fast lol. Good luck placing a pylon on zergs side of the map or managing anything with the cars xD

Isn't that the point of the buff? The Protoss 2-base timing to kill the 3rd is basically the PvZ version of the 111 Terran 1-base except it's less all in, more flexible and requires more scouting to counter. The Immortal got buffed to help out with it, I don't see why 25 extra energy on queens is an unfair buff. 1-2 transfuses and an extra creep tumor in most situations will not save you if you react wrongly, but it makes defending the timing a little more manageable.

If Queens would spawn with 50 Energy how much creep would be spread before the first Helions arrive ? If you can't at least limit the creep as Terran in the beginning it could get pretty problematic pretty quickly. I mean the creep could already be at around the third in some of the smaller Maps before you even arrive at the Zergbase ?

If Terran goes for basic reactor hellion opening and you creep with a queen at your natural when it first spawns, you can get 2 tumors down before the hellions arrive.

this, if this patch goes through not only will my timing/ harassment planned for the zergs free 3rd base be scouted 100% because of the ovie change, but they will also have a fk ton of transfuses and twice as much creep (particularly at the 3rd) making it much harder to do any damage at all.
transfuse is already such a powerful spell, but now zergs will in general have much more energy making early zerg nearly untouchable. the only viable build in pvz after this patch will be fast 3rd base which zerg can then metagame and get even more drones/ faster 4th and brood lord infestor. i just don't feel like zerg is weak early game right now.. they have a very mapped out / practiced build (3 hatch no gas) that tells them what to do in every situation. it might help in TvZ (where early game still wasnt really an issue) but it will kind of break PvZ.

HNNNNNNGG. I wish they'd just nerf T early/mid game and fix TvZ/TvP lategame instead of arguing that "overall" win rates are good. It's no fun playing as if there is a timer on each matchup.

Blizzard will never understand most people whine about game design rather then winrates.

We've already discussed this, I think we've all moved on to the next thing that makes the queen energy dumb.

what a bunch of contentless garbage seriously LOL

Thanks Luppy. Updating the OP.

wow...5 range queens... o_O that's as much as a marine.
|
Energy buff had to go, so it went. =O! Happy with that one Extra queen ground range is interesting.. and seems fairly reasonable. Maybe 4 instead of 5 but still, it's not like it's a factor in battles. It's only for buffing zerg defence
|
zerg feels so much less stressful, like a ton lifted from your shoulders, ovies move at a decent speed from the getup, and DAT creep, I just shut down a 6 gate and a ling all in with nothing but slow lings creep and spines...
