Just fix the Carrier Blizzard!
I'd be 100 bucks the Tempest doesn't have a ridiculously long build time like the Carrier... and that is probably why it works as a long range siege air unit.

Also this video shows it There's nothing wrong with criticising SC2, but that video is just.. weird. Half of it is complaining that things either look too shiny or too blocky, the other half has gems like "Blink Stalker requires no micro and is just a gimmick". Uh-huh. | ||

For example: make it do extra damage against light units, reduced against armored. Make the difference significant enough that the colossus becomes a more situational unit against heavy marine/hydralisk armies and protoss players are forced to focus fire light units with them, otherwise they are inefficient. I agree that the current design of "terrible terrible damage against EVERYTHING" is bad, but it doesn't mean the unit could be reworked into something more interesting. They did it with the siege tank too. | ||

Mutas are being phased out, most high level zergs don't even use them anymore, Infestors are the way to go nowadays. Terran players have no problem dealing with mutas, especially on maps like Cloud Kingdom and Entombed where harassing the main is impossible due to it being tucked in neatly behind the natural and 3rd. | ||

It'll be interesting to see how they implement the "rocket launcher" so that "siege tank wars" isn't replaced by "rocket launcher wars". I'm disheartened, though, I have to admit. Zerg's new stuff looks really, really good - and I don't see stuff that protoss is getting that will even be useful against the current PvZ tactics. I certainly hope we're not still doing 2-base allins in 2 years. | ||

People are saying they have just tweaked the BW units but I reckon it was a case of arriving at the same fundamental problem, coming up with a solution, and then realising they'd just thought up a lurker and had to swap it to have broodlings instead of spines (just one example). | ||
