Even with the upgrade, 1 range isn't enough to kite other phoenix. That's the reason why phoenix can't really kite someone who is microing mutas.

So now all tosses will go stargate and no zergs will go spire tech which will lead to tosses blind countering ultras and make the game fucking stupid YAAAY IMA SMART GAME DESIGNER!!"

Still remember that day where the majority of players thought ghosts weren't a viable option against Broodlords. This game has come a long way, it's almost sad to that HOTS might ruin balance but I want it anyway. : D

I guess blizzard saw the naama vs destiny game where naama went early ghost into MMMG
Transfuse was already more hp/mana than snipe...

Yea, why not just remove high yield minerals? Seems like they are doing everything in there power to keep high yield minerals in the game as if everyone really wants it there, or it has significant-beneficial purpose to 1v1 games.

But the Snipe change is ... debatable, at best. Way to force Terrans into Vikings / Marauders and make them more susceptible to lategame Z tech switches. It's better than Terran only making Ghosts and sniping both Ultras and BLs. But now you have to make more than one unit so it's a problem. Stay classy Terran zerg can just make an army of ultras all at once, or an army of broods all at once. Terran goes vikings to counter the broods, then zerg makes mass ultra and just walks over the terran.

Just a heads up for the people talking about snipe change, High Templars are not really affected by the change, they do die from 2 snipes already and infestors die from 2 snipes after the change

Well I don't exactly recall when high templar got buffed (I know their range got nerfed and amulet got removed), but I do think that units in general should be used selectively and should fill important niches in unit compositions, as opposed to "I'm going to build this unit because it will be incredibly good against everything".

Yes they mass whole 2: archons and colossi. The problem not about power of limit but about ability of protoss to make warps immediately after 200/200 during attacks. So they remax army very very fast.

Terrans have to change their play-style finally. What a shame.
This change will be good for all matchups and should yield some awesome games in the coming months as progamers adjust.
