The New season of the GSTL is quickly approaching, and everyone seems to have their own opinion on who they think is going to win. Many believe it will be IM, some MVP, and some even SlayerS, while people like VirgilSC2 believe in TSL. Poopy is putting his eggs in the PRIME basket. Well, I'm very happy that everyone has their own opinions and teams to root for, because it would be pretty boring if everyone was rooting for the eventual champion. But, who is going to be the champion? Well, let me enlighten you. FXO. A combination of depth, superstars, and up-and coming players makes FXO a dangerous team and an obvious choice for eventual champion. Here are the reasons why. Regardless of what your personal opinion of GuMiho is, he's Actually quite a boss when he's not playing against Terran. And Leenock is great against Terran. Leenock is now playing Sc2 100% full time, and since he's so young he will only continue to get better and better. And if Leenock falls in game ONE, you know who they can put out? Leenock! Where MMA wished he was. z will never fully get the respect that he deserves as the second best Protoss in Korea, but he will show a lot of people up when he dominates the team league. Former FXO player. sC? FXO. Bumblebee.Prime? FXO. Noblesse? Formerly CutefOu. FXO has had a history of having young unknowns pop up and perform well, and then get SNIPED. Nice to see these kinds of threads popping up. FXO definitely has a great shot, they have strong players at every position and a formidable ace. They will forsure be a contending for the GSTL title. I'm still going to be rooting for Slayers but unlike TSL and Prime, FXO is one of the scarier teams capable of taking out Slayers.

You're going to hype FXO and not highlight Choya? You are an unprepared fanboy, as I can guarantee you that having the goofy-faced Choya walk in the booth after a close loss with just the tip needed for a comeback plays a huge role in FXO players success. No other coach is as visible in the GOM studio, hell, even his recent showings in some of the recent Korean tournaments (KSL for instance) have been good.

haha, I remember when I didn't really care that much about sc2 teams because my favorite players were all over the place. But all of a sudden, TheBest came along and then so did Lucky, Gumiho and Oz and then even Choya.

Gogogo FXO ;D I'm a huge Oz fanboy. I always feel like he's the lesser of two plays in seemingly every match he's in, but always proves me wrong. Leenock is a monster as well. This team would be perfect for me if mvpSC came over to the team with everyone else when they aquired fOu.

Although I didn't make the original comment, I don't like these threads either. I feel like they try too hard to be quirkily funny and end up coming off anemic. I understand they are trying to be a cool community thing, and that they have a historical precedent in the BW scene, but they fail to make me laugh or make me interested. They also clog up the forum, although I'd rather have fifty more of these than a team of Master league players releasing a faux-press release from "Los Angeles" about their new "organization".
I think that's a decent summation of why some of us don't like them.
