I always felt in later game situations when more then a couple of ghosts come in play it shuts my infestors down pretty bad. Too many EMPs available to hit all infestors in comparison to the options of Zerg in shutting down ghost play. Hope this changes makes it a bit easier tho I should probably just start spreading my infestors better :'d

Well, at least ghosts kind of won't shit all over everything protoss has lategame...hopefully...maybe...

Anyway, gas cost change seems nice. It will make double forge less vulnerable to timings, and i always thought that as long as you can stay alive with double forge, it's an extremely solid style.
ModeratorProtoss all-ins are like a wok. You can throw whatever you want in there and it will turn out alright.

Wow that really surprises me considering they have chronoboost.

Eh, I guess they were pretty expensive though. Yay emp nerf! Helps my infestors :D!

I assume this reduction in upgrade costs is a round about way of increasing the strength of gateway units. Makes it easier to make them stronger

The shield upgrades have always been so obscenely expensive. Cost of a mothership for +1 armor on 1/3 of my units' HP, and a little more resilience for my buildings? No thanks.

The EMP change is really nice too, I feel bad for toss when I see one ghost essentially cut their entire army's survivability in half with two shots.

not that this statement is true at all.
may be thats because that Terran was always op so they don't feel up? /joke aside

this patch is a testament of Blizzard saying "Gateway unit suck" "you need to have an upgrade advantage to stay even with Zerg or Terran, because we won't remove warpgate and thus can't buff gateway units"

Protoss players knew this the moment, Thorzain made fast upgrades for Terran popular back in TSL3

Level 3 Ground and Armor is total of 75/75 cheaper (each)

Level 3 Sheild is a total of 225/225 cheaper

1/1/1 is 50/50 cheaper
2/2/2 is 125/125 cheaper (incremental)
3/3/3 is 200/200 cheaper (incremental)

Total savings of 3/3/3 is 375/375

Odd. Units from zealot to stalker to immortal to colossus all share the same attack upgrades, they should naturally be more expensive.

seems ok, dunno about groundarmor/weapon upgradecost for toss tho, i mean they already get the biggest benefit of all races by these upgrades (stricly speaking about number of units affected)
