Tbh plowing thru the open bracket will take a lot of games and effort, they will probably be very jetlaged and when they reach the final rounds they will face players who have just been resting and chilling for the entire tourney, planning exactly how to beat them. I think even Huk, Idra and Naniwa could do it with the retarded setup that MLG have. Tbh if one of them win this MLG it should be a freaking huge thing, but it wont feel as epic when you know how big difference there is between how many games MVP and Neaste have to play compared to Idra, Naniwa and Huk. This. At first I thought people were joking about Nestea/MVP coming to this means we already know the top 2 and foreigners have no hope and it's unfair, but now it actually sounds like some are a little serious. I mean, really? Both Nestea and MVP dropped games to foreigners at blizzcon and that didn't even have the grueling open bracket that these guys have to go though here. There's also the added factor of neither of them knowing the playstyle/skill of most of the foreigners, while their capabilities are fully known. Furthermore, considering this is the national and MLG has gotten more fierce in recent months, I'd imagine the open will contain plenty of Koreans as well, in addition to some of the better foreign players. Also, Nestea has said that he gets tired after a lot of games and MVP has the unfortunate condition with his hands. So there's something else to consider..

MMA spent a week with his entire team probably coming up with strategies and watching replays of MVP. He played amazingly well, but MVP kept a lot of those games close and even won one, even though MMA had a strategy to counter MVP on every map. MVP came into the finals doing the same old, no specific strategies and it cost him. Not taking anything away from MMA, he played great, but I'd put money down that MVP is fixing the holes in his game against what MMA did and I highly doubt the series goes the same way again.

Idra and Huk being the most obvious choices, but lets not rule out Naniwa who has now gotten a chance to play Nesteas and see them up close at Blizzcon. And the map pool won't be as retarded! You remember how Huk's last game in GSL vs Mvp looked like? He needs to step up 10 times more to close that skill gap.

I am sure this was the case with the other 3 matches MVP lost to MMA as well, before the GSL finals? Lol... -_-.

But Marineking is superior to MMA, since he 3-0d him last time they met in a very prestigious online tournament worth lots of money.

I think u misunderstood me. I pretty much said that MMA CAN beat Mvp,as proven by GSL. And what I meant by MVP's got this is ONLY if MMA DOESN'T show up......

Why would you even bring him up? This is MMA's MLG.
