Not real.
The Protoss silhouette will be released on the 17th.

They are showing all of the units at Blizzcon. This is just a sneak peek.

Is there actually still debate on whether it's morphed from a roach or hydra?? It's so obviously has a hydra's head...

Seems like a total badass

its a bug for sure (rly?)

I'm still saying if this thing is a long range seige unit, that isn't zerg at all, and that's what this looks like. I would love a lurker, because that fits with zerg. You close in with the lurkers and trap them in with lings. It makes sense. If you can just sit back on top of these things and prevent them from killing it while it kills everything...that's terran; not zerg.

Ofc its not real, It's a Collosi with 2 voidrays as ''arms'' nothing more ^^.
Man can't wait to see the real deal at Blizzcon!

edit: oh I get, terran fits zerg

Extremely slow, low health t3 siege unit, replacement for the ultralisk.
Uses cannon to obliterate basically anything.
To move, it curls up and rolls around in a high armor ball, but must return to its slow moving form in order to attack.
eh.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a evolved Roach?
|
this could still be a new caster for zerg. If that big thing on it's back is some kind of holder for acid like a baneling, then maybe it instead uses it as gas and can create clouds like dark swarm but with different effects. It's still a possibility. I think for blizzard to break down and give us a siege unit is almost too easy.

Hmm, and cost will be good too. 175/75 - good for swarming, if this unit will have lower damage, but big range, like siege tank, and will be able to atack air.
But I want baneling launcher :D

it has to be able to attack air thats a given. we know that for sure. anti air is lackluster at best for zergolangs

It must be a heavy anti-air at tier 2.5

Well, it's nice to think that in HotS we may be able to morph the Hydralisk into a useful unit.

I don't entirely agree with this but I would be more then happy to just get lurkers. I'm all for new units but if its just going to be a spin off of the lurker... just give me the damn lurker!

I can't imagine it's just gonna be a zerg siege tank. I've frankly no idea but despite people's lack of faith in Blizzard I don't think they'd do that because it just makes the races more similiar.
The fact that the head is clearly that of a hydralisk is interesting; to me it implies either it's a new T3 unit or hydras are going to be redesigned slightly.

Leaning towards both your options. New morph for the Hydra to turn it into a T3 unit like how the lurker was, except BW hydra went from T1 -> T2.
