u can't always trust in community feedback. the development team already adressed this, that user feedback has to be decisively taken. because sometimes the community don't know what the hell they're talking about. are they game developers? do they have experience? most likely, no. those that want to make something happen should apply for a job at blizzard or something. or go to different lengths to get their message in.
there's a lot of crap that come out of the community, and its often shrouds good ideas. usually the popular ideas are the most crap, like taking sc2 to broodwar. u wanna fix sc2? how about fixing it instead of saying sc2 not being broodwar.
point is, many people overestimate their opinion, and even if it may seem like an obvious answer, its not, because blizzard would've done something if it was that easy.

You mean most people. Lake Wobegon effect is the name of the game.
Siege unit that does little on-impact damage, but puts a DoT on the ground where it hit. This will give great micro dynamics as well as giving some area denial back to the zerg race (they lost it when they lost dark swarm and lurkers)
Or it could give units it hits a damage taken debuff similar to acid spores from devourers in BW. This would also mean removing corruption from the corruptor, giving them something more interesting instead.
I don't really care on it's mechanics as long as it gives some form of area deniability/defensive advantage to zerg, which they really need right now to round out the race.
I don't think that everyone pointing out merits in BW's unit structure are trying to bash sc2. Some people are, but the guy on page 80 didn't seem that way. His observations were good and are echoing throughout the community at the moment anyway. We can only hope that the SC2 team has seen and responded to some of these issues in HoTS. So far, we can't really tell, but I don't think Blizzard would just let their game be completed ruined. Yeah, they gotta keep the awesome factor, but I think it'll be toned out and more in favor of balance in HoTS.
Looks like those front claws could be used for burrowing, but I don't see any reason in guessing. If it is the lurker, I think Starcraft 2 will become so epic because of space control for all of the races and maps would really start making a difference!
Alrighty, my guess: Hydra's dropped to hatch tech, Hydra range not available until Lair tech Hydra/roach gain the ability to merge at lair tech - kinda how OLs gain creep poop at Lair Corruptors removed from game, replaced with BLs that can be built straight from larvae when the greater spire is done
The unit itself; Seigetank-like unit that shoots an acid-ball out of it's front anus when burrowed (no unburrowed attack), which rolls through the enemy army from where it lands doing a parallel linear splash of 3-4 similar to what the lurker used to do. Probably not as decent a range as the seige tank, I'm guessing around ~8-9 (effective range ~11-13). Armoured, doing extra damage to light?
Mins: 100+75 = 175 +25 = 200? Gas: 50+25 = 75 + 75 = 150? Supply: 2+2 = 4, should be plenty Time: Something along the lines of a seige tank/collossus? ~60-65?
