I like where you're going with that. Esp since it's an official concept art, in my mind that is completely reasonable but obviously not a nail in the coffin. Sure the unit may not look exactly like that concept art but the idea Blizzard has for its functionality and it may just look different. Also I remember in a video David Kim said they were exploring early scouting for all races and that unit looks quick.
I just wanna know so bad lol XD

Very nice find, legs are the same, concept could be similar, the spike at the end has a hole and a "venom" sack above it, could be used to spray acid. Replace the tail with the cannon stuff and it works. I saw that concept art long ago but didn't see the similarity with the teaser, well done.

A seige tank copy is exactly what the lurker was, and could be very pivotal to Zerg defense, much like the lurker was in BW. lol, now they need to give the Infestor Dark Swarm. Not op at all, hahaha

heres me filling in the darkness

it does indeed look like a hydralisk morph. it has slight resemblance to the overlord with its two crablike front limbs and the back ones are not. also it has pods on its back similar to the overlord.
it could be an all-around zerg look, but it definitely has a hydralisk head.
my guess is that it can dig because of the two front limbs being more armored.
the pods probably carry something like broodlings or something.

Well wasn't the Lurker a Hydralisk morph in BW. Definitely is convincing me that it is either the Lurker, or an equivalent of the Lurker.

I didn't actually see the similarity right away, but you're right! It does sort of look like an overlord which has fallen to the ground. They also talked about replacing the overseer because "its not a cool unit. Its basically a glorified scout at this point". So maybe this is the new morph from overlords? Maybe something that can scout by tunneling ala observer.

it has a hole like barrel on the front end of its back... so it could probably be loading units inside it, and launching it toward the enemy like banelings.
dont think it will be the lurker at all.
i think the reason it looks like the overlord is because it can load units inside it.
