Cirqueenflex,

your new version makes more sense to me for the shells front edge's part, but I'm still not entirely sure if the 2 bumps fit well enough. the one on the left looks like it curves the barrel to the left, so if the one on the right does the same, curves to the right, we shouldn't see a bump like that on the right, unless that's where the barrel shape ends, in which case I don't think the bumps should be so similar*. at least that's how I see it.

edit:
* should be a size difference because of the viewing angle. not because of distance, but because one of them would have more stuff around it creating more silhouette to ruin its shape.

would be nice to make it a siege unit that shoot slowly flying balls of acid. So no instant hits like siegetanks but maybe a bigger area of effect. Would force people to keep moving with their armies and maybe ease up the blob vs blob fights.

Depends on how fast the projectile is. If its got a travel time of 4 seconds or under, I can see it being ridiculously imba with infestor support(assuming fungal is unchanged between now and HotS).

As much as I'd like some kind of siege unit to defend terrain (those spine crawler jungles are pretty retarded imho) you make a important point. Anything remotly similar to siegetanks/colossi seems to be extremly OP in combination with Fungal : /

does anyone remember that in Single Player Campaign you had this static zerg thing that continuously spit green goo onto terran buildings to infest them ...

i mean thats how zergs win in the lore right ? infest everyone ? ... this does not reflect in multiplayer, unleast in StarCraft 1 u could infest a terran command center ,

so ... maybe this is just that ... a unit that either moves burrowed or climbs cliffs just as the collosus and when near a building starts spitting goo and in 20 sec that building is yours ... would make proxying stuff a pretty bad idea ...

It's obviously a cloaked armored acid-ball-spitting ledge-jumping superduperfast Uber-Roach that regains health by eating marines and zealots. Sounds balanced. I like it!

Also, for the record, I always thought Starship Troopers Anti-Air bugs shot it out of their ass... something wholly different than spit taking out those pesky air units. Literally, a shitstorm

If the thing on its back is actually a shell rather than a cannon, I can see the roach being cut and the hydra being bumped to T1, with this thing being a lair-tech morph.
