Like Caradoc said, you're promoting cheating on an extremely blatant level and that's not cool. Whether or not Blizzard will actually take action against it is completely not the point - the point is that they COULD, legally, and that part of the TOS was put there for a reason. If you're violating the TOS you probably shouldn't have a TL thread about it, whether or not you actually get in trouble for it.
Nothing about this mod is beneficial to the game. Learn to play the game like it was made like everyone else.
EDIT: Also:
Like I've said a hundred times, this program doesn't add anything that isn't already in the game.
Yes it does. The notifications that are already there are clumped with all the other notifications the game sends you. Finish zergling speed? Larva popped? You just made fifty zerglings? All those come up in the same place. Setting the most important one of them apart and giving it its own separate notification system is totally adding something to the game. I don't see how you can possibly say otherwise.
3rd party/independent = different things.
He can say otherwise because it's simply not true. it adds nothing to the game, it is separate from it on every level. You are wasting your energy on hating a concept rather than learning to understand it's uses.
Better go down to the music store and harass the manager for selling metronomes too. I used a much more primitive version of a timer when i first started sc2 back in the beta, after around 2-3 hours you get a very very tight inner clock for it.
And for players already good? (im in masters so im still shit) It will come as a complete shock to you when you are busy multitasking and you hear the beep and think "oh shit, i would have totally missed that"
And you know what that is? It's realisation of weakness and live feedback... the easiest and most efficient ways to learn.

yeah, fair enough, you don't capitalize your 'i' and the OP does

Thanks for a great app! Hmm, it should only last as long as the standard notification. I could shorten it if you'd like, though. How long do you think it should last? So is it just a 45-second timer that flashes every 45 seconds, or is it actually related to when your injects pop? If it's just flashing every 45 seconds regardless of whether or not you hit your injects then I don't really have a problem with it, that's just like having an egg timer next to your desk that goes off every 45 seconds. And at the same time, that's not that helpful. If it's actually tying itself to the notifications that come up ingame (which is the idea I'm getting - I don't really want to download it) then it's definitely adding something to the game - it's adding emphasis to an important notification and that seriously improves your game.

Yes, it's a good way to learn. That's cool. I understand how this could be used as a learning tool, you could play customs with it on, do whatever you feel like hitting injects every time, and that would be awesome. But if you're using it on ladder, like it seems like it's intended for? You're breaking the game by using something that gives you an advantage over players that are equally skilled and that's bullshit and should never be allowed on either TL or bnet.

A hypothesis is different than a held truth. Paranoia, which I think you're alluding to with the hat reference does not generally include the entertainment of hypotheses, but rather being convinced that things with no evidence must be truth.
I pointed out what you would probably agree is a statistical anomaly coupled with a fairly homogenous perspective on an issue of contention in the thread. One possible hypothesis is that its a single person posting under multiple accounts. An alternative hypothesis is that its a few people acting in collaboration. A more mundane hypothesis is that it is simply a statistical anomaly. With the absence of further evidence either way, its simply an amusing anecdote.
But if you have extra hats, I'll grab one. =)

Guns aren't evil.
It's pretty much that situation. Should we stop researching into medicine because some people abuse the fuck out of certain drugs? In my opinion we should celebrate any attempts to increase the pace of development within the community. The sooner we have a large amount players able to macro to an extremely solid level, the sooner we have a large variety of high level practice partners, good for everybody.
(random metaphorical anecdote incoming)
If a new player comes along and uses this for 1 hour, he might learn more about his injection habits than he could have in 10 hours of play without it.
Unlike some people think, you don't form dependencies on external stimulus to be able to remember something, it can only help, not detract from a persons learning. Taking the aid away doesn't have a negative impact. at the very worse you just go back to normal but with a more conscious focus on the Injection/Intended action.
Just hope we see a little less fear and hate on these forums..

I like it. When used appropriately in non-competition it has great potential as a learning aid to remember queen injects. Thank you for your hard work and I look forward to a version with an interface.

I've added a configuration GUI to allow you to change the length of time that the notification flashes, aswell as choose which events you want to be notified of. The OP has been updated with a new link/virus scan/hash
If you have any suggestions on other things to add/change, feel free to let me know

Nice response time hah.
Thanks for your efforts

This seems all right to me. It helps players play, and it doesn't lend a gigantic benefit to play.

Don't really need this for Mules. Maybe chronoboost. It helps the most for injects.

Even if the energy does save up as terran, it's still better to get the benefit right when the mule expires (a little after the energy becomes available to call a new one.) As opposed to having a period of time where you are getting lower income, and then all of a sudden spiking to huge income when you drop 4 mules at a time. It can help refine build orders by taking out the variance of mineral gain by calling down 2-4 mules simultaneously from one orbital.

Although it's probably not the right place to post this, it's also worth remembering that vs protoss especially, around the 7 minute mark tis a good idea to ignore this alert until you are sure its not DT's

I can't get this to work, first it had me update net framework 4.xx now when i try to run the program it says, " Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue. the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. etc Then is says " Object reference set to an instance of an object" it doesn't work if i ignore the error, it just closes down, i would love to try it out but dunno what is wrong, if ya got any idea let me know thx
does sc2 have to be running or something?

does sc2 have to be running or something? Yeah, SC2 has to be running. Is there any kind of debug log it gives you that you could copy and paste here?

if by better of you mean "will also make absolutely no difference" then sure ;D.
btw thanks OP, got a couple of hours use out of it today, noticed quite a few scenario where my injects just seem to fall out of my head. Can now work on fixing this problem now it's been highlighted.
Useful tool.

Admins should just delete this Topic since its just promoting a third party program

As a terran player, I would find this extremely useful, but then I'd end up forgetting to save energy for two minutes before I drop 12 mules on a gold base.
So thanks but no thanks :D.
