it looks like a scv/marine/medic/reaper/hellion

Anyways, perhaps they are combining the Firebat and Hellion into a Transformer? I know that Blizzard wanted some kind of Biological tanking unit for Terran to make Bio more durable and viable, and the result was the infamous Marauder. Perhaps they are rethinking that design decision? Maybe in Infantry mode it gets to become a tanking-ish Bio unit with extra armor and the ability to be healed by Medivacs, but in Vehicle mode it gets increased mobility and changes its unit type to Mechanical so that it can instead be repaired by SCVs instead of healed like Bio, though at the cost of extra armor? Perhaps it replaces both the Hellion and Marauder as a result? Nevertheless, I hope it drops Spider Mines.
Thank you for collecting them! I'm currently laughing pretty hard despite a sore throat! =D hahahaha

Good lord I am much more interested in what they will take away from Terran, rather than give to them. Oh well, guess I'll take what I can get.
It looks like that guy from the campaign Rory Swann

If it replaces the reaper or viking I will be angry. If it replaces the marauder, hellion, or thor, I will be very happy.

A combat walker that can turn into a vehicle with wheels ... what kind of purpose can it fit?
|
My guess is reaper morph upgrade, maybe into a mech unit
|
Please no biped mech Blizzard, unless you can make it walk mechanically and awkwardly (unlike the marauder and Thor).

What's with all the 'OMG terran doesn't need a new unit' whine. Have people ever thought that, when designing new units for Z and P, the creative process is more restrictive if the new Z and P units have to be balanced perfectly around the present T. It's less restrictive if they can say 'we want to give Z and P these new units, and now we will give T something so that it doesn't break the balance'. Sheesh, calm down people, it's not like there is some Blizzard conspiracy to make T overpowered.

firebat that can lay mines. ez

Not really. Firebat's one of the last units you'd hear when people talk about units from bw they wanna see in sc2.

"chill" refers to the waterbat, duh. thats a supersoaker mounted on his back and those are surfboards on his arms

Looks cra cra. We'll see. Glad to see them teasing though. I had to make sure it wasn't fucking April though.

-no region free gameplay -no free name change feature -no clan support -no multi-player replay watching feature -there is still a lot of balance discussion going on
-the community barely forced Blizzard to add chat channels.
and they come up with new units, which will probably make "balance" concept to build up from zero. It may be a good thing, if their idea is to fix the imbalances with new units instead of changing a current unit extremely. But the problem is, players always find other ways to use units and abilties other than Bizzard thought for, it will be a risky business.

A transforming unit would be something unseen in SCII?
Ling transforms to Baneling. 2 HTs/DTs are transforming to Archon. Corruptor transforms to Broodlord.
Dont you consider them 'transforming unit'' because you can't transform back and forth? Fine. What about Siege Tanks? They kinda ''transform'' (they change their look and usage, isnt that what ''transforming'' is all about?) as well. Still not?
Let's talk about Vikings.

I could also see some mech unit with AA, either replacing the thor as a tier 2 unit or they'll buff the thor but make it harder to get/more expensive as well. Remember they're going in campaign sequential order but all units pulled could be from later in the game, or you face strong terran units real quickly and kill them with Kerrigan or something.
|
For fucks sake! Another Bionic unit? wtf is this shit. -disgusted terran player
With that out of they way I am still very curious as to what it is and what it does.

Well we all knew this was going to happen. But really by the way TFT and BW added a lot of stuff that made the game better I am not really too worried. Blizzard has always used xpacs to fix the holes the vainilla version had.

Mix of a marauder, medic, hellion and a viking.
HP of a marauder Medics heal Hellion damage and splash Transform into best anti air in the game
Special feature for this unit: Upon reaching 50 kills, it will gain a unique rank known as "Troll" which only this unit will have.
