APM still doesnt mean jackshit, but the only reason they implemented this change was to make bronze-platinum players feel better about themselves while shitting on professional play and its spectator value. cant they just stick to balance changes and leave APM and sound alerts the way it were? not everything requires 'fixing', you know. or maybe they're making the apm tab more useful to pro players while bringing bronze-plat players who senselessly spam 200apm back down to earth.

Pretty puzzled, don't feel as if I'm doing anything differently. Wow that's high, I don't know how you do that without tapping lol :D Mine has dropped significantly from the tapping, from 180-200 to 120-130 as someone above said. I figured people would not be able to get over 200 with this change, but apparently I'm wrong. So basically you click a lot?

Has this been answered yet? Cos I dont get the point of trying to make a more accurate apm count if they arent going to bother making it realtime.

It's not truly recording actions per minutes now, it's more like "actions per minutes with a modification". (APMWAM)?! Anyhing you do in the game is an action. Moving the mouse from point A to point B is an action. APM has always been arbitrary. Pre-patch, post-patch, in BW. Even camera movements weren't recorded before the patch afaik, and that is a much more important part of actual player speed than tapping.
