Please don't post when you don't know what you're talking about. If you think macro style only benefits Zerg, you're not playing at a high enough level to make sweeping generalizations.

And these maps look okay, but I haven't played on them, so I'm not going to shit on any of them like so many of my forum brethren have. I'll say that they look decent. They're not GSL maps, which I almost uniformly love, but I'm sure they'll give most of the players (including myself) some fun games. And that's what Blizzard is in the business of, giving the most people at the same time as much fun as they can. So kudos.
You realize that quote is talking about 3v3 and 4v4 right?

And let anybody select to play in either one.
Then people can chose between the "variety" and rushing of the blizzard maps or the tournament maps for balance or if they wanna play like and copy the pros or train for a tournament. It would also let the tournaments do what they want with maps without worrying about keeping a few ladder maps in because anyone can practice them now without being on a pro team. ^^ I like this way more than separating the leagues by map pools. It's gets too complicated for people when they upgrade from Platinum and suddenly have to acclimate to new maps. That's not far to anyone at all. There doesnt need to be "rush maps" to have players rush + Show Spoiler [Dreamhack] +(dh finals moon 6 pooling on tal darim?) ....you can rush on any map...you cant have a standard game on any map.

not my favorite but TL isn't the entirety of the playerbase, and in fact not even everyone here is whining about the maps.
not that I think anything will ever come out that doesn't involve the zerg response of 'now we can't win'

I know! I'm so sad that Shattered Sky, Kerrigan's Wrath, and the Macro map all have easy thirds close to the natural without rocks blocking them ;_;
I'm starting to like these maps out of spite, now.

I feel like the lava one might be decent if it were rotationally symmetrical. The last 1v1 map looks okay I guess...

I love how Blizzard says 'yay, the pros don't ladder anyways'. So Blizzard. Why do you think that is? Because you don't use the maps the pros have to practice. If you want them to ladder, add GSL and ICCup maps. Problem solved. But don't go the other way round and just pretending as if they were not there. I can't see any reason why a casual gamer would hate e.g. Bel'shir Beach. None.

BECAUSE THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT 3V3 AND 4V4!

keep the same maps we have already (unless you replace the shitty maps with these maps) imo.....

hmm they all look interesting (esp the team ones), but can't really say much more until i've actually played on them.

I would suggest everyone who don't like these maps to drop a comment at blizzard's blog. They even state We'll be watching these changes closely and reading your feedback, so let us know what you think in the comments below! so if you're unhappy about these maps you better let them know before it's too late.

don't yell it does not say so in the quote

If they remove slag pits and DQ I'll have just enough downvotes to keep playing Macro . I hope these new maps bring some more good play to the ladder.

It says so if you read the whole post and don't take one quote out of context.

... where's the third?

Why do they put rocks at the third base always? Are they afraid you will hurt yourself since taking a third before 50ish supply hurts you anyways?
