So Blizzard basically wants to kill any decent Thor strategy vs P? What's the dealio? You guys are actually thinking of reverting the change you made way back due to the fact that no one was using them against P? For what? Because Thorzain pulls it off in 2 TSL games? COME ON BLIZZARD. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Warp gate nerf is so great for terran and zerg at this point, tired of tosses being able to rush their warp gate so fast.

Well, the Thor sucks again but at least we can EMP them. -_-'

Though it was a little insane because a massive amount of Thors would take down any Toss army without highly upgraded big air.

lol i love the incredibly ridiculous complaints about thors

guys, it was massive bullshit that they didn't have energy in the first place. thors had no protoss counter. no counter. do you understand that?

you guys who say that it sucks in tvp don't know anything. just because bio is extremely common doesn't mean it sucks. it was actually insanely powerful, you just had to either be playing mech (which was very rare because it only works on certain maps and everyone already excels at bio style compared to it), or you had to be using a build completely based around it.

ppl don't realize how strong mech play actually is on a lot of maps because bio play was already strong enough to get the job done

As a protoss player I'm really digging the Archon range especially against Mutalisk. It's only 1 range so I'm not sure how much it will help, but my experience with mutas ~_~, I can use any buffs!

As for the Thor change, IMO the 250 cannon is the most PLAIN and Boring spell in the whole game. I wish they would just remove the whole spell and add something that would make it better for spectator pov.
I will master Speshul Taktics.!

Yeah I'm really curious what the reason is for this. Adding energy back to Thors, espeically timed with MC going down to Thorzain, makes this all the more comical.

I like the new fixes, the pylon change was going to be the biggest factor in changing pvp anyways, and since they reduced the sentry timing you can chrono an extra sentry if you keep chronoing your gateway ( i think ).

And now Archons are more viable which is good~

It's all because of Thorazain, he beat MC with Thors, now Blizzard thinks Thors need a nerf hahahaha.
It's gonna be trouble some to same the least. Thors are slow already, This just kills Strike Cannon completely, No reason to use Strike Cannon against toss because of Spell interrupt.

Feedback will kick the casting process before a Shot can get off.

This is due to the Mana cap and mana cost timing, which is after the cast completes. Which eliminates Alll possibility of using Strike Cannon in PvT. Because of the Cast time +Mana Consumption.
Like Yamato Cannon, Strike Cannon is casted spell that takes a cast to complete, which can be interrupted via EMP.
Now to use thors you must keep their Energy low, thus they will never be able to use Strike Cannons.

Thus eliminating an entire spell from the game. This is saddening, Thors can still be used. Strike Cannon though is gone like Khydarian Amulet and Flux Vanes

The energy was necessary.
