The diamondback would wreck protoss so bad it wouldn't even be funny. Just imagine pursuing stalkers while still getting shots off that do bonus damage against them.

I want a hive-tech Roach upgrade, to make them more useful late-game. Give them their fast above-ground regen or armor back.

How many units will end up in the final game? SC2 vanilla already has quite a few multipurpose units per team. I thnk they are actually going to end up making it harder on themselves to balance. 1 expansion yes but 2, no

If they don't add anything for multiplayer then most people won't buy the expansion.
I really wish for a zerg unit that can attack while burrowed. It doesn't matter if it is a ranged or a melee unit.

You heard wrong, they will add units to multiplayer. He has never ever said they will not add units to multiplayer. Nobody is that dumb to shoo themselves in the foot

whats the point of an expansion if "you cant add anything" or "you cant add much" . I not saying i dont believe what you are saying, i just find it outrageous that if this is the case, these expands are nothing but an attempt to milk the most amount of profits from the franchise

Yeah it's the same kind of people promoting this idea that they "won't add any new units" and posting the same mis-read article. He said they'll be adding a lot of new cool stuff. Not JUST new units. It will be ridiculous poor marketing if they don't add any new units.
They won't add new units for Toss expansion, that's what they stated.

Ummmm? Cool hopefully they make a decent campaign this time. Sure everything they added in this game was awesome no complaints, but perhaps some of the Devs need to go play SC Vanilla and BW campaign. 3 Races. 3Highly developed storylines. All intertwined. All very deep.

I believe the implication is they will do what they've done previously and probably alter core gameplay mechanics and add new software functionality like they did with the frozen throne. For example, I've heard that at one point they were considering altering the bonus damage mechanic to be exclusive rather than inclusive (that is to say rather than having bonus damage against X armor type, they would do regular damage to all types other than X, which they would do less to) which makes more sense. We might (infact almost certainly will) see new upgrades and abilities for existing units as well as stuff like improved replay tools, better ladder software etc.

From playing the old blizzard rts games i think we will see 1 caster unit for each race. And perhaps 1 more unit. Id like to see another top tier unit that is very situational. A unit that wont win you every game but sometimes if u can do it just right (mothership comes to mind) can turn the tide.
