This. If you need to remax after a battle you will spend like 10-20 seconds bashing thesame button. Time in which you can't do anything else. And that just does not make sense to me. It does not cost the Terran and Protoss that much time because they will never be making 30-50 units at once.

If toss wants to build 40 zealots, they have to click "w" , "z", "click" 40 times!
If Terran wants to build 40 marines they have to click "a" 40 times.

I dont see why this problem is zerg specific in any way

Terran can hold down keys to produce units. So can protoss but not if you use the warp gate mechanic. But the warp gate mechanic gives you an advantage by lowering the "spawn rate" of units and allowing for warpin anywhere. So why would zerg need to click a button 50 times lategame while toss can click maybe 12 times and terran can hold a button for 1 second?


The change is for all races, not just Zerg, the whole "hold key down to do multiple commands" is gone now. Why do zerg players think its just a change to zerg?? This makes Zerg players look like they are just trolling and QQing about everything

Are you quite sure about this(as in, have been on the PTR), since it quite clearly states

and I know holding down a button for terran works, so I'd assume there'd be no change to t/p...

Try remaxing while you're losing units in a battle. It's better than simply making units after the battle.

It amazes me how some Z players complain that they don't have to make Corruptors or Hydras to counter mass air. Not to mention they have a default unit in the Queen that is anti-air. They simply don't realize that they have been spoiled for all this time OP units, including the infestor. Blizzard simply realized how OP Z units are and made the correct nerf.

Having said that, lategame TvsZ will still heavily favor Z after the fungal growth nerf - Blizzard needs to further nerf late game Z, or buff late game T.

Wow these changes are really interesting. Protoss finally getting some buffs, and I guess VRs will always be slow now? Fungal growth change is HUGE. I'm surprised they didn't do anything to stimpack after what they said at BlizzCon. Definitely interested in seeing how this develops.

Late game Z is already nerfed since you'd have to tap buttons to macro your army back up.

I do agree that lategame Terran needs a slight buff.

people need to stop spouting this nonsense. thors are ALWAYS very cost effective vs mutas . and this only gets better for the thor as upgrades increase. and where do we see anything like that at gsl?

this is just wrong.
there is no viable zerg air counter now against z and p.
zvz will be mass muta because once the mutas reach critical mass they will beat hydras without fungal growth. also you will have map control. the only counter to mutas being corrupters now.
zvp will become mass phoenix. the protoss has no reason not to phoenix and force hydras or corrupters and then build either colossi (vs hydra) or just pure ground (vs corruptor).
zvt it's not that game breaking. though you will need mutas now when facing dropship play. and the mass marine raven play some people in here have brought up.

I agree 100% (original quote is what I love the most) and all Zergs are QQing about that shit especially in ZvZ because now they have to deal with it like us Toss and Terran do, as I said before, frantically running from base to base cursing at them!

They think mutas are so OP now that they can't use FG on them, well how the hell did they think we felt this entire time?

It's seems very odd to me that they act like they don't even have a unit called the Corruptor, and then whine about making hydras which completely rape warpgate units and say that a 2 base toss can mass phoenix, gateway units, AND colossus!!! LOL
