We probably won't be able to get on for a couple of hours, at least that's how every other patch went. Usually 4-5 hours downtime... which is a lifetime when you're free for the day and planned to ladder...

Nexus buff and Hatchery buff probably response to Terran PF.

I would have rather them put nitro packs on engineering bay, at least then it makes them dedicate to a barracks based build. Factory... it seems like now reapers will be used less over-all. This is stacked along with that +5 second building time they also put on it.

I'm fine with everything else though. I can't feedback Thors/corruptors anymore!

Blizzard did this JUST to nerf reapers.
This doesn't fix anything and breaks a lot of stuff. I'm actually worried....

I'm going to try some 2 drone + fast pool rush vs terran now, seeing how they need depot to make rax if I can delay them both.... bwahahah

I still think the supply depot before rax is ridiculous, and why all the QQ from Tossies? They didn't touch VR charge level 3... It isn't as if they wont still be ungodly when fully charged. I'm so glad that they removed the energy from corruptors / thors.

I'm Zerg. I'm biased. I like this patch.

I'll definitely have to see how the void ray numbers tranlsate to actual gameplay. Yes they'll be weaker and easier to deal with, but I think they'll still pack SOMEWHAT of a punch and harassment capabilities.

My only problem with the void ray is that they melted anything when charged up, and having no chance to defend against an all out rape machine just isn't fun - whether if the unit was balanced or not. The fact that you get a good group of void rays somewhere in your base (for whatever reason) they can easily melt all your major structures. Seems a bit overkill for just letting one thing slip by.

In my book, losing all your fricking supply depots made you lose the game anyway. Besides, if you dont have any supply depots left, how would you produce from that barracks?

absolutely agree. the barracks nerf was certainly aimed at pleasing 2v2 players that can't deal with reaper ling builds but sort of breaks the fundamental balance of 1v1 by eliminating any threat of cheese.

This is a dangerous path Blizzard is going down. Even looking at all Diamond league data is misleading as there are so many people in Diamond. They should really only be looking at GSL results now that there's enough money to incentivize people to really iron out all possibilities in the game. Maybe if they added the pro league...

Thank god for the void ray nerf, for those of us who like to have fun in team games they are the stupidest unit ever.

Hopefully Blizz will keep a close eye and make sure it doesn't hurt toss too much in 1v1, though.

my game doesnt work after it just patched to 1.1.2?? it keeps saying to "restart game client to play multiplayer" and i have and also restarted my computer..but still that message pops up.
