not really, unless you are flash or jaedong it's nigh impossible to keep doing it as the game goes further on. this trick in practice is only good for the first few minutes of the game when you aren't doing anything. after that you have better things to do. | ||

I do really think Mineral Boosting is the best name because it is exactly what it is and what the OP called it (way better than what some other people in this thread have tried to brand it - Mineral buffing, 7% build, Boosted gathering.... cmon guys :p) But, I voted for Sockfolding because the OP came out of the blue to share this with everyone and didn't say please oh please name this after me forever (watch and learn Stalife). Sockfolding is a silly name for it but I think the guys deserves it. I can see Korean commentators screaming "SOKFOLDUUUUU!!!!" because it may indicate a rush build incoming!! | ||

This is like saying that hold lurkers/muta stacking and all the other little tricks in bw should be removed ... wtf? NOT doing this trick is about as detrimental to your play as having about one minute idle worker time in a game .... Everyone has idle workers once in a while. So you could say that the possibility of completely avoiding idle worker time should be removed. Which is equally ridiculous. | ||

I did the larvae trick in SC/BW every chance I got for a .001% increase of minerals so I will be definitely be doing this every game. | ||
