It's like only having a big juicy steak to eat, which is nice, but the vegies on a burger really create the flavor. lol so much drama they had to fix it

I thought Trebis was pleasant and helpful, and I admire Sockfolder very much for finding this. My hero shelf is filled with the Sockfolders of the world. But all the while I watched Trebis' video I kept thinking, "Oh wow, I hope they patch this", while he was saying, "Finally, something we've been waiting for [...] I hope they don't patch it." This is not micro to be valued. This is not fantastic muta micro. This does not make for a good game. If shift-queueing your workers tediously like this is imperative to being great at sc2, or beat some exploit rush, then Blizzard has a big problem. I laughed out loud when somebody referred to this as 'dumbing down' the game. This isn't dumbing down the game; I don't even know how that applies. Keeping it in the game is dumb. Lamenting this patch isn't lamenting the loss of valuable gaming skill, it's lamenting the loss of an in-crowd handshake. Did not read the entire thread.

I don't agree with your post generally but you make a good point at the very end. Beginning players will have no idea how to do this or where to get the information explaining how to perform the trick. This is a problem with many games. Blizz seems to be doing a pretty good job with those community articles they link to from the Home section in SC2. Eventually they will hopefully have an advanced tips and tricks section on their official site that would explain things like this to new players.

I've been doing mineral boosting by manually shift right clicking every (ideally, sometimes i can't get all) worker to their patch on every mining trip at the start of the game, so I didn't ever use the Return Cargo queue and I still got the effects of mineral boosting. Haven't tested this patch though. Edit: Tested, queuing up a way point on the worker to its current mining mineral patch delays the worker before it returns the mineral now instead of speeding it up -.-
