we have a pretty nice scene here in Austria (considering the country's size/population), and so does Germany. it's just that these comedians usually won't gain international popularity cause of language barriers.
anybody remember the Austrian guy at Eurovision song contest a few years ago? Alf Poier? he's a comedian, albeit a really crazy one.

I'm not sure where you're from, but I know Germany has a fairly mature standup scene. Japanese culture has manzai, which is very similar to an old fashioned American double act. I'm from Italy. We do have similar forms of entertainment, but nowhere it is accepted to use rude language or be offensive in any way. It mostly boils down to making fun of politicians and celebrities.
I bet there are comedians in Italy that are not on TV because they are deemed too offensive by the TV stations. On a stage in a theater or bar somewhere, someone has to be publicly making mean jokes about the Catholic Church, or wife beating or something. If you really feel offended by jokes on SotG, you should compare what is not on TV in Italy with SotG, because SotG, too, is not on TV. 
Also, to help a bit in having a better overview of European opinions, I want to make known that I do not feel offended by anything on SotG.

The point is though that all you're focusing on is that they made jokes about EU, ignoring the context. Context is really important.

I think the main problem is alot of people dont get irony and dont understand comedy.
When Incontrol says something completely wrong about europe on purpose, the joke isnt aimed at europeans, its aimed at his own ignorence.
People that cant understand this must think that Ricky Gervais (funnily enough a european comedian) is racist, sexist, and makes fun of disabled people, they just dont get it.

When someone's there from Europe and you guys troll each other that's fine, or when Europeans destroy an event with lots of americans in it, it's also ok to make sarcastic jokes or like a recent statement from X player celebrity how EU>>> US. Or really if there's anything you can put your finger on, that's because they are making those jokes, not because they are being douchebags. Btw i'm not offended at all, and i know they are only jokes, and would love some Eu vs US trolling session with a standup Eropean guy on Sotg, but i get why some people get offended or think it's uncalled for. The reason they did the EU trolling is because of this thread. -They talked about Lucifron -Whiners who need to get their hearing checked misinterpreted this as hate on Lucifron, or ignorance of the EU scene as a whole.
