Don't worry, in a few months it won't exist (they'll have to keep adding a new top-level bracket and eliminating the lowest one, because people will feel bad that they are in the lowly "whatever's lowest" bracket).

No kidding, I was happy when I saw that it was removed, only to have it cruelly re-introduced a few lines later. Can we at least get a re-name? I know this is not reality, but where do these terrans come from? It is nonsensical. Couldn't it be something like a broodling instead?

it can go on and on.... it is the same thing...
for me +1 name for players to make them feel better = satisfying 12 years olds
The name change is likely due to copper and bronze being so closely associated with each other, both physically (bronze being a metal alloy consisting primarily of copper) and aesthetically. This attention to detail is what makes Blizzard, well Blizzard. Hopefully the other mentioned UI changes will help the new Battle.net live up to the brand.

It's quit a unanimous decision though that the ultra "balance" makes it even more useless.
I don't think the folks at blizz quite have a grasp yet of how much "terr, terr, dmg" hard armor counters are melting ultras. Let's get an idea down now that allows the ultra to even GET TO ATTACK RANGE without DYING.

that's obviously the most imbalanced spell of the century ...

Yes buff spells are annoying. Its my opinion i know.. but im just not into that whole " well 30+ 25% rage minus the regen spell -%20 + 3 bonus of howling gayness" is boring and doesnt make sense when we have Units that actually die instead of stand their fighting each other for 10 minutes like WC3.... We like creative spells like force field , dark swarm,. This is not a magic game. We want this to feel like an over- the top Sci Fi military strategy game.--- OBVIOUSLY

They shouldn't listen to these type of threads though. Patch Discussion threads are absolutely terrible as far as feedback goes, and are basically on par with WoW threads maturity-wise.

at least TL admins are reading
anyway, I am trying to keep up with the pages as much as may be I missed it so I apologize now.
but does anyone have an idea about when this patch goes live?

really? you don't think the testers at blizzard have put ultras up against marauders at some point in this game's 5+ years of development?

If they did, it was clearly mass A move with ling/ultra with no focus firing on ultra whatsoever. No stim + kiting, either.
Yes, I don't think the testers at blizz put ultras up against mauraders. The numbers don't add up; an ultra literally dies to two volleys of a full arc formation of mauraders.

Apparently they are going to introduce HeartGold and SoulSilver leagues next patch.

Blizzard is the one that thinks ultralisks are getting owned by neural parasites and mass roaches. It's pretty reasonable to think blizzard isn't properly monitoring/testing the game.

i want that they slow down the hydralisk attack. it doesnt feel right that they shoot faster, than zerglings deal their melee attack damage. if you want make the hydra cooldown 2 times bigger and increase the dame x2.

lol. So true. Patch hasn't even been released yet and people are already going insane. Blizzard needs to listen to its fan base as little as possible when it comes to balance. They have the numbers, we only have subjective bias. The fans are their to test and provide the numbers and tell blizzard what's fun and what isn't.
As for the patch I honestly have no idea how some of these changes will play out. I do 100% know one thing. Infested terran is now a joke. Not that I care. It isn't as though it changes the game at all. It's just funny, what they did was basically remove it from the game in such a way to not hurt the feelings of the three blizzard employees who for some reason feel in love with the unit.

The fuck, Frenzy for infestor sounds like such an extremely horrible idea. What the heck. That IS a WoW-skill. Prolly from the same guy that ruined the Corruptor.
EDIT: Let me add that I'd be happy if I was proven wrong. The patch has some interesting changes in all. The Overseer looks really exciting.

Every "Patch X Discussion" should be renamed to "TL User Hyperbolic Whine Thread".

Not the way to go blizzard. In my opinion even after roach nerf in patch 12 zerg was still totally dominating in late game, god, just see some games of top players (for example white-ra against sen) and results of recent tournaments. Only thing zerg has to do is to survive early game. And that has to change, because we don't want the game to end up in "you either win in first 10 minutes or you automatically lost". Therefore I'd like to see some massive broodlord nerf, hydra nerf and on the other hand adding 1 or 2 early-mid game units (lurker seems logical) which would give zerg more breathing space in early game.
(this all goes for PvZ matchup)
