I am VERY happy they gave T and Z a way to deal with force fields. I'm not sure how it well play out. It could possible be an over nurf but we will have to see. That said there NEEDS to be some way to deal with force fields. As it is right now there are no counters to it except burrow which is will only work vs noobs who have no obs. I'm not sure what to make of the Ult "buff"? Ults have always done absolutely insane damage, the problem was their awesome ability to melt. Now they melt 25% faster. That said I am happy they gave zerg a +dam to armor unit as I always thought that was a little strange that they didn't. By giving ults an immune to slow and the ability to crush Force Fields I will definitely try Ults out extensively. Perhaps the nurf to hp may be warranted. The void ray nurf is right on if you ask me. Just a slight reduction in range is all I think void rays needed. This patch might not be popular at first glance. It might have over nurfed toss while actually nurfing Ults some more, and meaninglessly buffing terran. However I think in concept this is a VERY good patch and step in the right direction, even if the numbers might need to be tweaked. The one thing that sucks is that there is no buff to roaches. Oh well. At least I might have a late game alternative now especially vs toss. I will just have to use roaches as what I've been using them for now, an anti-rush unit with some harassment ability that I will mostly stop building late game. That is fine with me so long as Ults work out. | ||

As a zerg player I'm not very happy with this patch. Ultralisk still sux, and IMHO we didn't need the rest. Just put roaches back to 1 food. I got to say that I feel sorry for all the protoss players now. They were fine imo. all blizz needed to do was to nerf T (marauders mainly), not BUFF them. Ah well. It IS a beta. We'll just have to see how this works out | ||

everybody here is right about this game is turning into something else other than starcraft. I ve played and been playing blizzard games for a long time. Regarding the other games, always a race/class is getting buffed yet another class/race is getting nerfed. please I beg to this community. someone explain to me why MM needed this buff? please no sarcasm, how this change balance the game. explain to me I beg you, just give me a logic... | ||

"We still believe that the terrans are spending too much on infrastructure and are struggling to compete at certain times in the game against the protoss. Reducing the cost of essential infantry upgrades should make the terrans a little bit more dangerous when going with an infantry heavy force." And the lame thing, is that balance was VERY GOOD afew patches ago. Then with 2 patches, they totally fucked it over. | ||

(can't remember) Protoss had this really amazing composed push with a lot immortals and stuff. Everybody would say demuslim were to lose against that kind of army with his infantry army. but demuslim just get 6-7 scv's in front. and just used stim pack. Half of his army was alive. protoss army got demolished. So, blizzard thinks to make infantry army more dangerous? They think they are struggling? ******** | ||

Ultralisk are just not tanking units for blizzard i guess. The scenario in late game will be: the first unit hitting between ultralisk and marauders wins the fight. Seriously, 450 hp sucks so much against marauders and 40 zone damages is so crazy. And Blizzard focus so much on Ultralisks in ZvZ it's so fun.. Overseer's corruption seems cool. The 125 mana infested terran is a troll by blizzard for people who were crying on this spell. The bloodlust thing.. We don't want to micro arena battles from WoW Blizzard, we want to micro epic starcraft battles. Just put a postionnal thing in this game for zerg, like lurkers of dark swarm (not necessarily BW copy/paste, new things if you want). Zergs battle have no depth because they have no positionnal thing. | ||
