From the daily today, as he was speaking about aggression, Day9 mentioned "needing to go bearshit", or "the word". I missed the earlier part of the daily, what was the meaning behind this? Just the same as going "apeshit" just a different animal?
Also, is there some sort of updated playlist of what he uses in his dailies? I know there used to be one, but that isn't updated anymore.
I just don't get why Day9 doesn't stream himself playing. I have lost interest watching the dailies long time ago after realizing that most of what he's saying is pretty easy to figure out by myself and also actually trying them out in ladder instead of watching it would make me better. However, I would like to watch him stream himself playing. Maybe he doesn't want to break his all-knowing image about the game by streaming, perhaps since he said he isn't that good? I don't know but anyway, it's quite annoying he refuses to stream himself play.

Him not streaming is not a very big deal at all really :-/
On the latest state of the game he said he has been GM with all 3 races so obviously he is not that bad at the game but he also said with all the casting he has been doing, the dailys and other obligations of his he sat down and played some serious ladder in 4 or 5 months... I dont think its a big deal, why does it matter if he streams himself playing or not?

Because I find the dailies not fun anymore, most of them are very similar in the message he's trying to get out (know when to expand, attack, pick a good build order etc.) and that's just not interesting. Watching him play in Grandmaster league as you said, which I highly doubt where he would be placed at if he did not play some serious ladder in 4 or 5 month, is more interesting.
The old Broodwar videos seem to be gone, there are only like 10 left.
Anyone knows where can I find more? Listening to his analysis on BW never stops impressing me with how deep it is... how much stuff I need to know and do.
Edit: Nevermind, it's all on blip.tv. Was looking around in day9.tv/archives earlier

in a Free For All, declare what one unit you are going to make - every time someone leaves the game, you have to choose a new unit. Only three times though, if it's an 8 players FFA then you can only change units 2 times.

yeah watching Day9 play would be fun but if you just want to watch GM players laddering it might be better to just watch other, better players

Some youtubers only dream in making that amount of time in their content. Take Totalbiscuit, he creates daily 1-3 videos that are about 15 minutes. This guy does that in 8+ hours of work (according to himself on his channel).
Just to clarify that point, I generally put out about an hour of content a day on my main channel (and several vods a day on my SC2 channel) (sometimes this does not happen). All of that content is prerendered and then uploaded, which takes a ton of time. If I were to merely livestream everything and allow Twitch to handle the VoDs, I'd be putting out a lot more, but properly edited content takes a lot longer to put together than something you just put out live on a stream.
Sean's time is sunk not into production but into research and preparation, which is why he does not have the time people seem to believe he does.

Artosis has put his pride/ego on the side and started streaming his ladder, he doesn't care if it makes him look bad but he does it for the sc2 community anyway, and the community has responded well to this and are very appreciative of it, I wish day9 would do the same, stop hiding behind smurfs and show us your skills day9.. I became your fan through sc2, not skyrim.. If you play other games at least play multiplayer competitive games instead of single player games.
To me it seems like day9 is trying to make himself appeal more to the lower level sc2 community (kinda like husky and hd did in the past) to gain more viewers, his youtube channel is labelled "startcraft 2 and skyrim".. really skyrim? skyrim isn't even an online game man.. skyrim isn't esports.. seems like your using your popularity to gain more viewers from different games, its no longer about sc2 or esports its about how many viewers you get.
I know this sounds like a rant, but I have been following day9 since sc2 beta and I just don't like the way hes going with things, every time I watch him playing other games in his daily I just alt+f4, maybe he lost his passion for sc2, I don't know.. at least try another competitive game like dota2 or something instead of single player games.
Either way, I'm always a fan.
Oh no now DJwheat is trying to make himself appeal to the "lower level" sc2 community by streaming batman on inside the game! (Batman isn't even an online game man... batman isn't esports). And on a featured teamliquid event that was supposed to discuss sc2 gameplay and drama. He could at least play a competitive game like dota2 or something if he needs to fill time because his hosts aren't there.
Maybe DJwheat has lost his passion for sc2, I don't know... I blame tasteless for showing all the casters that passion isn't necessary to be successful they are just following his example.

I think he's openly said several times that in terms of laddering he just prefers privacy.
He may decide to do it eventually, but I don't know if it's even really a priority of his. The daily already involves him so heavily with the community. I'm sure that when he wants to stream, he will stream.
