Scumbag coolcor didn't mention that I streamed over 30 hours of SC2 on my stream over my End of Year break :X Dude, no way man every caster is losing their passion nowadays. JP lost his passion when Drewbie engaged Leah Jackson. Day9 lost his passion when he flat out refused to stream SC2 unlike every other big caster. Artosis lost his passion when he asked a guy not to sell a shirt that humiliated him. You lost your passion when you sold out to the corporate machine, aka Justin.tv. The whole world is going to hell in a handbasket man... Dude, the Incans were right! THE INCANS WERE RIGHT! This year is gonna be the end of the world! Obvious trolls are obvious lol
Not sure if trolling about the Incans though, it were the Mayans =D

TvP Mech daily tonight! Cant wait!
|
I was watching avilo's stream last night for playhem and he was up against TT1. TT1 seriously just walked right into his siege line with blink stalker zealot and a couple immortal and easily rolled over it. Avilo asks "did you see me going mech?" and TT1 responds something like "no, but I only had 1 robo".
seems like mech may only be good in certain situations to against P... but you can say that about almost anything

I loved the Mech vs Toss Daily, it was long and lovely, and it also prevented me from doing my work, but it was awesome none the less.

I just felt like mocking what some people said about Skyrim and Day9 losing his passion. I didn't mention it because I didn't know how much you streamed sc2 I watch steams very rarely. I think you got plenty of passion keep up the excellent entertainment I enjoy watching your shows
I also enjoyed the mech versus protoss daily good job being entertaining and full of passion day9!

lol If only we knew why tasteless lost his passion long ago. He is the original and source of the passionless casters if we can find out what went wrong and fix it the world might yet be saved!
(I think tasteless is awesome also!)

I think I need to watch yesterdays daily I got killed by mass thor. I thought a lot of immortals were good, but the dps on thors is just crazy.

One thing about maps. Someone asked if bigger maps progressively make mech worst, but what I want to focus on is the base-layout. In BW Flash could efficiently cover his base and natural with just 3 turrets initially and aither hide his Fact timing or force multiple observers. In SC2 most maps have really open areas in the back for air and creating an initial little box for your fact/ports would quite require allot of more expensive turrets. Similarly sensor towers could cover better depending on maps(btw I don't think they were used nearly enough in the example games).

I dont understand why day9 stubbornly claims mech is good tvp. Most pros think it sucks and is vulnerable, even trimaster said it during the featured game >_>

Immortals lose to thors unless your upgrades are better =p, plus if he has strike cannons and you don't feedback, you're in trouble.
Try carriers.

you need to scuttle-step-focus-fire your Immortals into the Thors due to the range difference.
|
Upgraded carriers crush mech so hard... The damage output from +3 air weapons is insane.

Obvious trolls are obvious I just feel it necessary to point out the it was the MAYANS that created the calender that ends in December 2012, not the Incas. And they never predicted the end of the world. Their calender simply states that the day holds some significance and their calender just happens to not continue on. Maybe the dude got tired or thought "fuck it, i'm already more than 5 centuries ahead of my time, I'll finish it later"
And most casters haven't lost their passion, it just seems that way to you for some reason. I think the casters have more passion for the game than ever. Just look at how pumped for Game 7 of the latest GSL Finals Tastosis was.

This was one of the cutest things I have read all day. But I don't know, I've been trying out this mech style in TvP to some decent success... But then again, maybe it's not that well known so alot of toss players just flounder when trying to go up against it

Mass Thor is a glass cannon really until Terran gets ghosts. However, getting ghosts + Thor seems too complex for most pepple to do as it requires a crap ton of gas resources. But if you can, then the whole Toss ground army just becomes useless and they have to transition to carriers and chrono boost their cyber core like crazy.. :\
I did this back before the Thorzain patch when Thors had no energy and immortals had crap range so you didn't even need ghosts.
