From what I'm seeing, that's not the case. Making Terran race equal to other races only on high korean level is a sign of very poor design game.


We both see the same problem, we just have different ideal solutions.

I want Blizz to bring and up to the level of (nerfing Fungal, replacing Colossus, etc etc)

Well, toss has the most demanding basic units. First of all, you have to strike a balance (so no holding down the "R" button, until enough roaches are made to kill everything) which units you build, then you have to micro your forcefields right. Waste them, and no unit is gonna come home (unlike these blazing fast zerg units and stimmed bio).

Of course terran bio needs micro too, but it's not their basic units, that are the problem, but the lack of a tanking unit and the vulnerability of their high tech units (all of them possess a purple bar...). Let's see how battle hellion does it's job, now that it's not a warhound spam game.

And please refrain from calling a race not demanding. If you think a race is too easy, play it, win the GSL, then I'll trust you.

Please... I was making fun of the fact that they called it a "cloaked unit" when it is clearly not. It is a unit that can burrow and is stationary. It is not like it can run into a mineral line and do massive damage like a banshee or DT or burrowed infestor. If youre that bad that you let that happen well then, maybe YOU need to learn the game.


Burrow is essentially cloak, and considering that the mine can only attack when in a burrowed position I don't think it's too far of a stretch to call it cloaked. I could see mines being used very well to snipe transfering queens. I think it'd make it hard for a z to take a 3rd before lair considering there will be a burrowed unit blocking their expansion. That in itself is pretty significant.


God forbid zerg actually has to use 50/50 to get an overseer... and yes it is a stretch to call it "cloaked" lets think of the units that do have cloaking, ghosts, banshees, DTs, and observers. What do all these units have in common? They can MOVE while cloaked, the widow mine cannot. NOT a cloaked unit

Doesn't have anything to do with moving as roaches and infestors can move while burrowed. I'd say it's more about ghosts, banshees and DT's able to use their primary attack while moving and being cloaked.


According to your definition, a burrowed zergling is "cloaked" hilarious

so they add carrier as antimech and remove mech? awesome idea! wait next patch when they'll say "sorry guys but u dont use carriers so we removing it again and adding %terran_mech_unit%" :D

Except that it was starting to see use in WoL, and will see even more use in HotS if mech becomes an option against Toss.

All right: Then why are you calling players of certain races (basically 2/3 of the players out there) less skilled? The game is balanced at high levels and I am quite sure,a SK.MC has not a lot less skill then a Slayers.MMA.

I like the patch updates. As a UMS player and random map maker (just goofing around) I like that they are adding and removing these units. Because just like how the Lurker never made it out of the Alpha stages of WoL the unit still exists and super fun to use. So, "map makers" like me and real map makers just have a additional unit to mess around with.

With the addition of the carriers being used back into the mix I love it. Being a lower league team and one versus one player one base carrier builds are sometimes viable and work. So I love the readdition of the units.

Also, Non-korean terran performance at tournaments and their overall representation in GM/Master leagues proves my point. (Actually all leagues, except bronze).

The warhound will come back, they sed on the Battle.net forum's atleast. they want to adjust it heavily they sed. Think they want to "Checkout mech" without it, to see what is missing and make the warhound probably fill that role accordingly.

It's simply wrong, or better: Half the truth. Non-korean toss is also not winning anything. Basically the only race, foreingers win with these days is zerg.
May it be, that in some leagues terran are underrepresented (who cares in an esport anyways), but this doesn't affect the highest level of play.

Please... I was making fun of the fact that they called it a "cloaked unit" when it is clearly not. It is a unit that can burrow and is stationary. It is not like it can run into a mineral line and do massive damage like a banshee or DT or burrowed infestor. If youre that bad that you let that happen well then, maybe YOU need to learn the game.


Burrow is essentially cloak, and considering that the mine can only attack when in a burrowed position I don't think it's too far of a stretch to call it cloaked. I could see mines being used very well to snipe transfering queens. I think it'd make it hard for a z to take a 3rd before lair considering there will be a burrowed unit blocking their expansion. That in itself is pretty significant.


God forbid zerg actually has to use 50/50 to get an overseer... and yes it is a stretch to call it "cloaked" lets think of the units that do have cloaking, ghosts, banshees, DTs, and observers. What do all these units have in common? They can MOVE while cloaked, the widow mine cannot. NOT a cloaked unit

The mine decloaks, even though it does not detonate when auto-cast is off, right? I don't see why you need a lair.


I didn't know that. I assumed after the mine is burrowed and you deselect auto-cast it would remain invisible.
